The best thing that I can say about these accommodations are that they are clean. But there are many reasons for choosing other properties instead: 1) bad neighborhood in a bad part of Newark; 2) multiple rooms share a single small bathroom; 3) no amenities whatsoever; 4) dated and worn bedding and furniture; 5) you will not be given a room key nor will you receive a receipt or billing statement and you cannot use a credit card to pay; 5) though low-cost relative to hotels in the area (namely Newark airport), these rooms are a poor value overall for what you get. My advice is to avoid this place; you can find far superior accommodations in the area for not so much more money.

Be careful, Bedbugs everywhere, Don't trust the woman here, she's a liar. Mice everywhere, in the room in the kitchen and you cannot put your food on the table. Otherwise millions of mice will be there on your food. I had a bad experience in this hole. The woman has problems with the Tax payment, don't wait for an invoice.

I'm from the suburbs, this place is definitely in an urban area. A neighbor played offensive rap music for 9hrs. From 5pm to 12:30am. HORRIBLE!!!

Nice quiet place to stay and price wasn't bad where other hotels were expensive little disappointing there wasn't a coffee maker cause I bought coffee at a coffee vendor at a music fest but I managed .

A good place to stay, especially those who want to be closed to Newark Airport. It is also closed to the Penn Station, so those who are visiting New York can stay in much lower price and closed to New York. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Will try her best to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommended

DO NOT BOOK HERE! I was traveling solo from the UK arrived at the hotel only to find out that they had overbooked and given my room away so I had nowhere to stay. I had no internet due to the flight so could not contact them they blamed it on me 'not confirming' my stay even though I had responded to their email once I got on WiFi at JFK. I have never ever had this issue anywhere else I've stayed before! They clearly do this all the time as a few moments after I arrived a couple of women visiting from Canada had been told the same thing and we ended up with nowhere to sleep. Some of the staff were incredibly rude and kept laughing at us from the other room, did not care about our situation and kept trying to get us to leave. The lobby was dirty and we ended up having to share a room at another hotel for the night because of our limited budget, completely missed the first day of our visit to the city. Absolutely abhorrent service I was totally distraught.

They charged us 270 dollars because we were stuck without accommodation after united abandoned us in new york. The rooms are old and spartan. We had a used woman's pad under the bed. No coffee no breakfast. No key. Waited 3 days for the invoice.very dodgy area. Dissapointing...
