Might have been the cheapest motel I’ve ever stayed in. The toilet wasn’t even bolted down. The toilet paper holder was broken off the wall. The floor was uneven and gave a lot in some places. It’s smelled stale and kind of musty. The TV was tiny. There was no coffee maker and the rooms lighting consisted of two bed side lamps with dark shades. You could hear everything going on above you. The hot water for the shower was barely hot enough on full blast. The bathroom door was busted and was easily jammed when trying to open from inside.
$85 was too much. This was a $50 motel room at best.
Four stars based on affordability, cleanliness and friendliness. Attractive bedroom decor with a newly renovated bathroom. The hotel had a welcome novelty: all the necessities for making S'mores are for sale at reception for use at the fire places by the pool. Across the road from restaurants and a short walk to town.
Positive: This was perfectly located where we could start at one end of the main st and walk to the other end and check everything out. Negative: Motel Quality- you?re paying for the location - suited our needs just fine
Positive: The vintage but clean Adirondack atmosphere!! Do not lose that, there are plenty of lookalike chains-the Montreal fits Lake George perfectly. Many others are now gone/?renovated? the vintage thing will be hard to find -but popular. Negative: Not a thing.

This place is terrible!!!!!!!! No wifi no tv no cell service!! Told me I can have my service dog and had to pay a fee of 100 dollars but I'd get it back if he didn't destroy anything which he didn't but when we decided to leave a week early they said his fur was all over the place and won't give the 100 back !!! !
Positive: Quiet. Negative: Lighting in room is insufficient. (2 desk lamps only.) Also, exhaust fan automatically comes on with bathroom light, making it unnecessarily loud.
Its a great location. Never anyone at the feont desk when you need them. No extra TP.....thats always fun. Not worth 200 a night.
I came up to Lake George for my birthday and had a wonderful stay at the inn. It's a great location- you are within walking distance of the lake, so no need to deal with street parking. Elizabeth and Brady were very welcoming, the rooms were spotless
