Motel Luzerne - Motel in Lake Luzerne - 296 Lake Ave, USA

We are so happy and grateful that Pam and the crew at Motel Luzerne appreciate the quiet and beauty of this little lake. They have been working so hard to make it the perfect spot to relax with family. I have been coming to this lake for over 50 yrs.and lodging here has always been minimal. In one sense it keeps the area a hidden gem but it also meant the "regulars" were staying in rooms greatly in need of renovations. Pam and crew has truly breathed new life into the area with their purchase of 2 of the available 3 motels that were on Lake Luzerne at that time. Every room has been painstakingly renovated. Some units have full kitchens and more that one bedroom. Every room boasts a mini fridge and microwave with table and chairs. All new appliances, bedding, flooring has transformed this into a clean, bright place to stay. Outside chairs, grills, floats, fire pits (yes they even supplied fire wood!), kayaks, canoes, and life jackets limit the amount of things you need to pack. Pam is always around asking "is there anything else you need or anything we could do better for you?". As new owners they are always open to suggestions and are striving to have another happy customer. I look forward to my next stay!

We stayed here at the end of July and it was fantastic! Rooms were very clean, the beach and kayaks were wonderful, and the location could not have been more perfect! Bonus points for the keurig, fridge and microwave! Lake George was very close by, and that was the main part of our trip, but we loved the town of Lake Luzerne! We definitely will be returning next year!! Thank you! What a great experience!

Our stay was great, but the cottage room number 7 by the poolside definitely needs to be updated. | We stood 2 days on the lakeside those rooms are awesome. |Pam is great!!!!! Everything is near by. |All that needs to be done is some upgrading and some property landscaping and it will be a perfect place. But I would definitely recommend and return

My wife and I enjoyed our stay recently at the motel. There have been upgrades to the room interiors and finishes. good. water and pressure very good. Mini fridge with freezer nice. Parking is a bit tight. Laid back small beach with deck and boats. Note that we had to drive 35 min. to Glens Falls on winding dark roads for a good dinner. Room rate was a bargain.

We made reservations months in advance. We thought we had a room on the 1st floor that we could sit outside and look at the lake. I went with my 82 year old mother,and I recently had back surgery. When we arrived, we were told that we were staying to driveways up "poolside". Our room was at the top of a hill. We had to climb steep stairs that didn't even have hand rails. Not easy to carry luggage up. The pool was at the bottom across the parking lot. Barely visible from our room. The stairs were not lit at night, so I had to use the flashlight on my phone to help my mom up & down the stairs. The refrigerator was turned up so high it froze our stuff by morning. My Coffeemate was frozen solid. The bathroom was tiny with no counter space. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was that it was clean, the a/c worked and there was a Keurig with supplies to make coffee. Certainly not worth $250/night.

What a pleasant surprise. A small motel on a beautiful lake with completely renovated rooms, Away from the noise and bustle of Lake George.....what a relief to find all the amenities at our finger tips. Loved the pillows! I simply loved the place and hopefully I will be back in the area again and will certainly want to stay there.

The room was updated and looked very nice. However, there needs to be something put in the room to deal with the bugs. We found bugs in the towels, there were bugs on the ceiling of the shower, and my mom even found bugs in her bed. We even found a bug in our hair, which we know is normal when you stay in the woods near a lake. The motel guests were very friendly and it was great meeting so many new people at once! The views of the lake can't be beat and our dog loved walking around the area. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.
