Motel Jesup - Motel in Jesup - 3939 Savannah Hwy, USA

A horrible experience! I checked in, and before unpacking I was relaxing on the bed when the room next door got very noisy and had another group or family apparently living there, just hanging outside the room cursing and making a lot of noise. I laid there for about an hour, hoping they would go away, but they didn't. I had not yet unpacked, so I grabbed my bag and moved it to the car. The manager and his wife walked by, and I told him I was leaving Because I felt in danger and asked them to reverse my charge. They offered me another room, but there is no way I was going to feel safe with that group. And now they refuse to reverse that charge!

Absolutely disgusting. The shower was CAKED with something. I don't even know. We all needed a shower but I was terrified to put my kids in there. The sink was just as bad. So none of of eye able to get cleaned up. The floor had something sticky all over it as well as dirt. Roaches everywhere. The fridge didn't work, the air barely worked, and neither did the WiFi. We were told our money ($70) could not be refunded.

I really enjoyed my stay at Motel Jesup. It was absolutely amazing. The manger, owner, and employees treated me with a lot of respect and were really easy to get along with. They make you feel at home and treat you great. The rooms were VERY clean and cozy! There was a large variety of channels to choose from and the General Manager is always helpful if and when something goes wrong. There were a lot of places to eat around there that were convenient. Nothing was far from them. There was no noise and it was nice and quiet, very peaceful. The prices are reasonable and better than the other ones I went to. It was definitely a place my family enjoyed and it was a safe place. You can even pick if you want the first building or the second and request being around people or being alone. I loved my stay and will be coming back soon!

Motel Jesup is a hidden secret. I have stayed in every hotel in Jesup, but this was my first stay at Motel Jesup. It will be my only destination now. The owner staff is extraordinary and care for all the guest needs. The room are updated along with the bathroom and the AC/Heating works well. Beds are very comfortable and staff is attentive to every detail. It outshines the chain facilities within 30 miles. And I could not believe the price. More than worth the value. In this case I was staying because of Hurricane Matthew. I expected prices to rise like all the other hotels. When I saw the room price, I ask the owner why he didn't follow all the other competition and raise rates. His reply was "I am here to help take care of people in need, not take advantage of them." A solid motel with good facilities, great service and operated with solid ethics.

this property is located in a convenient place, close to a temp job my husband is working at, it doesn't have bugs and they offer a lot of cable channels and movie channels... that is the only good things i have to say about it.||||calls were made for weekly rate quotes a week before we arrived. when we arrived we paid and the very next day, the owner knocked on the door and handed us a bill ! he informed us that they didn't charge us for the tax and that the pet fee was not $10.00 weekly and that it was $10.00/nightly. we do a LOT of traveling for jobs... big hotel chains usually charge on avg $20. to $25. weekly! we went to look at other places and told him we were going to check out so he changed his mind and said he would honor what he charged for the week since it was his mistake but we checked out after the week was up since we found a better place.||||if you have a dog, the owner will insist that you walk your dog around the back of the building which i was completely not comfortable with in the dark with the shady characters that were there!||||the rooms are small and stunk!! had to light candles and air out the room all day. beds are uncomfortable. they offer a coin laundry mat with one washer and one dryer. housekeepers didn't come to our rooms for 2 days and when i inquired about towels and garbage bags... she informed me that we need to place dirty towels & garbage outside our doors to get service. I told her... no one informed us of this at check in. they placed a vaccuum outside my door so i gladly did our floor since we have a dog. they asked my friend if she would like to vaccuum her floor and she told them she believes that is what the housekeeper gets paid for! very shady characters check in to this place. my room phone rang all hours of the day and nite...have no idea why so many people can't dial the right room number. the toilet easily clogged and ran continuously. the ac/heater unit was so loud that ya couldn't hear yourself think and had to blast the tv to even hear it! internet hardly ever worked. there isn't a pool at this motel.||||i woldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Stayed last Saturday and it was better than expected. The General Manager is hands on and was ready to help. Our TV went out and he replaced it with another in an instant. Followed up with a call to make sure we were all set. No breakfast at this hotel, coffee is available 24 hours, that was nice. Places to eat less than 5 miles away.

It was the Last chance to spend the night near Jesup after yard sailing all day with the Peaches to Beaches 200 mile yard sale. We were very much apprehensive about staying at an old motel. We asked to see the room first and just hoped it would be acceptable enough so we could stay. Make no doubt, it was OLD. The room had everything needed to make us comfortable but it was totally old in every way. Linens were clean but dingy, tub, toilet and sink clean but stained. Carpet worn, air conditioner worked, fridge clean, microwave clean and coffee maker OK. The woman at check in was very pleasant. Prices could not be beat at $52 a night.

Come on people, I came here looking for an affordable place to stay while visiting my nephew... I'm reading reviews in shock.... I hate to break it to miss party who swears they were so very quiet, although someone else had to rent the room... A little education for you..... Bedbugs can be contracted anywhere..... From the cheapest to the most expensive establishment. They don't come from the establishment, they are brought in by people renting the rooms. You can check your bed before you ever lay down on it. As matter of fact, you should never take your luggage until you have inspected the room. I hope you've learned something here.
