Motel 6 Warren, MI - Detroit East - Motel in Warren - 8300 Chicago Rd, USA

Rooms infested with bed bugs. Housekeeping doesnt even come to clean. Mold all over the bathroom and the shower curtain. The lady at the front desk during the night is extremely rude and doesnt do her job. I asked for some towels which she refused to give me, because housekeeping never came, giving me attitude. Everything is dirty and broken. Its a shame what has become of Warren nowadays. This place needs to be investigated and shut down, and the building needs to be abandoned. The evening lady needs to be fired and be living on the streets the rest of her life. Worst customer service I ever had. Look at the other reviews and see similar complaints.

The room was nice when I first walked in. I didn’t like that the showerhead had mold in them. I also so a bug on the toilet and that freaked me out. The floors were not mop. My brand new white sock got so dirty from the floor. Overall decent hotel but service isn’t that good.

This is one of the nastiest places I've ever stayed in my life. It has mold everywhere and it is totally not safe as far as cleanliness and safety. I have pictures of the room. I wish I could post them. It will make you sick. I slipped and fell in the room 3 weeks ago. And the management told me the they don't have anything to do with it and to contact an attorney. If you want to be safe and have your health please do not stay here. If you.look at the pictures I've posted you will understand. I don't understand why they make it so hard to see the pictures I posted. I bet I won't get a reply

This is the worst motel 6 that I have ever visited. The 1st room had multiple bugs and when I saw a roach I quickly requested a transfer. It also had mold and a broken smoke detector. The 2nd room had dirty towels and empty boxes of trash outside the door. The 3rd room looked as if housekeeping forgot to change the bed the sheets were messed up and dirty. The fourth room had a warped door which made it hard to close, a hole in the floor, food crumbs in between the sheets, and bodily fluid stains on the sheets. For some strange reason they don’t clean the rooms thoroughly. Instead of asking for another room we just stayed put and avoided the bed with soiled sheets. Avoid this location and find anywhere else to stay. The clerk was nice but she seemed to be clueless as to why the rooms were in poor condition.

Our room was incredibly dirty, basically falling apart and we found bed bugs. There were multiple holes in the walls and it reeked of cigarettes even though it was a no smoking room. We could also hear loud traffic from outside our room at all hours with the door closed. The staff was very apologetic about the bed bugs and gave us a refund, but I unfortunately still have to say I would never recommend staying here.

Everytime we come into town and the room I like is available I like to come here only because of the front desk "Sommer" it makes it all worth the extra mile or dollar to stay. Motel 6 is lucky to have a great girl like her honestly I can say I'd probably wouldn't stay here if it wasn't for her beautiful personality.

3/14/24 EDIt: After speaking with the staff it came to my understanding that the issue was located to a few rooms. They then discounted my room to half rate. I decided to go ahead and give them a second chance. I stayed in a wonderful room last night. Very clean. No issues at all. It has also come to my understanding that they are going to be closing a good portion of the property to update rooms and to do maintenance. Some of the issues came from "tenants" that have now since left. Original post: I don't really know how to say this politely. My check in person was great Terrell absolutely awesome guy. .. did everything he could to assist me. He even brought me the can of raid to spray the cockroaches with... I have video. I will not be sleeping at all tonight. This is absolutely effing disgusting

I Been Switched To 3 Different Rooms & Still Not Accommodated I’m Up Dealing With This @5am Still I Been Dealing With This Since I Checked In This Is Ridiculous ! I Was Told I Couldn’t Receive Another Room When I Feel Like It’s Not My Fault It’s Bugs In The Rooms . It’s Dirty Towels , Terrible Maintenance , Omg It’s Horrible !
