Motel 6 Ventura, CA - Downtown - Motel in Ventura - 350 E Thompson Blvd, USA

The room was okay for a basic motel. My problem was I was charged almost $300. I registered a week ahead online and received one price. I checked out and the price was 60 bucks more. I discussed it with the front desk and he played dumb. I showed a screenshot of my earlier registration and he played dumb. Next year I'll just take my $300 and find a nicer hotel.

Stayed in Ventura for 5 weeks. Floors were super dirty. The bedsides are worn like the waves in the beach. Found a dead spider on our wall. The lady was too rude, restrooms are filled with mildew and mold and the toilet is very disgusting. Would never recommend this hotel again... I would rather sleep in my car

This is the worst Motel 6 I've ever stayed. Kicked out for literally "no specific reason" after receiving "complaints" and never got a reason or what the complaints were about. Not to mention crackheads and bums hanging around the property. Stay somewhere else if you don't want to run a risk of getting kicked out for no reason or having your car broken into.

We’re not snobby about staying at Motel 6. The last one we stayed at in Santa Barbara was a dream and I’ve stayed at a number of more modest locations. This one is by far the worst Motel 6 we’ve been to. The outside looks like it’s poorly maintained, but we had a reservation so we went anyway. The floors are dirty. I spilled something on the floor and wiped it up. Paper towel was gray/brown. The beds are SUPER worn. If you pull off the bed spread, you can visually see the left and right sides sunken in and the middle sticking up like a mini pyramid. Pillows are also a joke. This location only has bar soap whereas most have dispensers with lotion, bodywash, etc. Smoke detector is missing. Just wires hanging out of the ceiling. Caulking in the shower is full of mildew. And there are mold spots on the ceiling. We slept terribly because you were basically rolling off the side of the bed because it was so worn.

This place is always great, 3 blocks off the beach and not bad priced. I always come here because everything I do is within 8 blocks so I can drive or walk. Never had a problem here not once

Great Old Town spot. Everything is near. Clean and quiet. Best price for motels in the area.

For a minimalist budget motel, this is well kept and clean. I really liked it. The location is great, as it is close to the beach and across the road from a great Mexican food joint. I ate there twice. Close to town too, where there is nice coffee and plenty of things to do - I went to Ventura theatre for a show and it was awesome.
