Have two stars because it did have a hot shower. The front desk clerks very nice. Great location for walking to restaurants, Starbucks and Fred Meyer. However, the room I was in was absolutely horrible. They do allow pets. I didn’t feel safe there as a solo traveler and left. There are very sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot at all hours. At least the one night I was here. The room was unkept, somewhat filthy by way of holes in walls that were patched poorly, the flooring didn’t even meet the next plank and so was uneven. Also, no coffee pot or alarm clock in room.

The room floor should have been mopped. I had room for 2 nights, and upon returning from shopping, the cleaning lady was in my room and threw out some of my toiletries. (Which was fine) Didn't speak English(which was fine also) so I went to the office and they finished cleaning my room and now everything is back to normal. *Just got back to the room, and my toiletries are back😁.

This is a great place to find somebody that would teach you how to recycle scrap metals. The rooms are filthy, the walls look like the inside of a mechanic shop, weird ashy fingerprints everywhere. On a positive note, we found no bed bugs. The sign on the inside of the door was very helpful telling us that we should keep the doors locked for our own safety.

This is the worst motel 6 I have ever stayed in. For example: lights in room weren’t working at first; no electric plugs by bed for my husband’s CPAP; no Do Not Disturb sign; no blanket on the bed; no place in bathroom to put makeup, shaver or basically anything; dog walk full of dog poop; trash bags everywhere broken open; room had a strong unpleasant odor; no drawers in room; no luggage stand; no blow dryer; both clothes dryers in laundry room out of order; spa closed and out of order; very noisy. Overall not much to give kudos on.

Abhorrent for $100/night average. The facade out front with the nice looking brick lobby is a mere shell for the ugliness and unkempt conditions directly beyond. On top of the damaged and dirty rooms, we were harassed by staff on checkout morning. It started with the maids calling us dirty people and claiming we had smoked in the room. Problem is, we’re fluent in Spanish and heard every bit of it. When I let them know we understood them and to let us know what the problem is they ignored us and went about cleaning the room. The room was dirty when we got there. People had smoked in that non-smoking room as recently as a few hours before we checked in. Worse, when we drove away and found shade in adjacent church parking lot, we were immediately followed and confronted by a Hispanic male member of Motel 6 staff wearing a soccer jersey instead of a uniform, recording our plates and telling us we were trespassing and had to leave. It didn’t seem to matter to him that he was easily 100-150 feet away from any reasonably agreeable motel property line. This is not how you treat a transient family!!!!!! Also worth noting is that someone’s 27 foot moving truck was stolen right out of the parking lot the night we stayed there.

Pros: Located next to Freeway 205 Next to Major Grocery stores, Restaurants (Shari’s, Starbucks, Elmers, Black Rock, Fred Meyers, Walmart, etc.) Bar across the street (The Offramp) Dog Park between the two buildings, equipped with dog bags (small) Key Cards are constantly working (no reactivating daily). *If you want a great clean room request room 320 Cons: Drunk man walking around (stays at motel) Pets are unleashed (Especially from the drunk man) Ice machine located at 1st building (bit of a walk from 2nd building) Guest Laundry at Hotel Lobby (bit of a walk from 2nd building) Some rooms are clean or fully bedded (blankets, etc) The Motel 6 was a great stay for the 1st week that my partner, baby dog, and myself stayed for the 1st week. The room we were assigned to was perfect, clean, spacious, extra towels, etc. It wasn’t really ADA friendly in my circumstances but I worked it out. Each reservation that was made we added notes requesting a front room, ADA friendly, and bottom floor; the only request that was fulfilled was the bottom floor. By the time a second week arrived we made the usual reservations: Front Room, ADA Friendly, bottom floor. When we checked in, they had filled all the bottom floors; with my current medical conditions I was unable to walk up or down stairs as I require a knee scooter to get around. Painstakingly, I made it up the 1 flight of stairs after half an hour, we made it to the room which was half working (front window light was flickering light a horror movie, wall sconce lights weren’t working, bathtub had a dark stain, and most importantly my baby dog was very uncomfortable in the room and just whimpered to the front door). Front desk was able to give us another room but it was for the 2nd floor at another building. At that point, the moment we had checked in, we checked out. We were able to get a full refund thank goodness but in more cases then this our request for accommodations weren’t followed at all.

The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen in my life. The rooms was disgusting Burt sheets blankets. Also bathroom had hole in the tub. Also lights didn’t work in the bathroom. Also parking lot drug addicts, and people want to buy drugs into everybody sleeps in the parking lot more than the hotel room. The parking lot was full of drug addict doing drugs. The vending machine for the ice machine, homeless people witness ice machine outside. Can’t believe this establishment is still open for business not safe for kids. And that is in the picture of the hotel that you will be staying at that’s not the picture that’s another hotel. I wish I was still there. I ran away. The hotel is horrible looking but that’s not the one so please be careful and please review this don’t stay .

Nicer motel 6 than any in Portland. To be clear; at each motel 6 in Portland i have a separate complaint- one has no hot water, one only has 6 channels on the television, one charges 5 dollars for the soda instead of 2.50 and doesn’t take quarters, another has no shaded parking, only one tiny trash can in one room, and one didn’t allow pets even though it says pets are fine on the website (expo center). All of these places get to charge the same price, but i had to go to Vancouver to get all my needs met at a place that charges 4 times what i would otherwise pay per night for the average minimum rent. I like that motel 6 consistently allows pets. Air bnb charges the same prices but i wasn’t able to cancel my reservation at a place with no air conditioning. Maybe the problem is that human generosity can not fill the space that all the money has left behind. My question is where does all the money go if not to re invest in the businesses/ shares? All to Overhead? The cut for the use of technology from labor is worth %35 of labor’s market share, that is, essentially stolen from the market. Tech and the treasury need to somehow compensate for these losses from the overall pool of money and the resources of the planet we all live on, no? Maybe the money is all sent by the land lords overseas, but I think it is more likely that we are seeing that even the owners of the franchises are struggling. I conclude we can’t afford to publicly or privately fund AI. I’ve gone past the skipping meals phase of poverty due to relocation, and Tech’s share will continue to grow. There’s nothing stopping it. The people who are there at the levers of government to try to control the conglomeration are overwhelmed. The technology of the cloud and supercomputing is going to rob us all to starvation and still require more. Yet i still feel i cannot live without it. Maybe that will happen before cataclysmic effects from climate change. Is all of that investment in a digital messiah going to produce a solution to anything? In all the years of my life i have only seen these internet-based systems produce complications for a society hanging by a thread to adapt to. More and more the power to do so consolidated. All hail the algorithm.
