My experience at Motel 6 was horrible. The room given to me was filthy and dirty , and I had to clean it. I stayed at Motel 6 for a whole week. Basically, you pay what you pay for. Management is very mean. Wouldn't let me get ice to fill me ice chest since their refrigerators are small. The pictures shown are from when I left Motel 6 and cleaned it myself. I'm making sure I'm leaving Motel 6 cleaned to get my deposit back.
Sweet location. Lots of eateries around. Homeless are around so there’s a bit of a urine smell. Parking spaces are a bit of a tight squeeze! Other than this, I enjoyed the room for a night and LOVED the overall location. Also, the woman at the front desk had GREAT customer service!!
It’s Motel 6, not the Ritz.. For a motel 6, it’s great. Decent price, clean room, coffee in the morning, vending machines for incidentals or a drink or snack. McD’s and Taco Bell on the corner walking distance and a AMPM gas station across the way. So nice to have stuff that’s open nearby. Owners operate the place, which is nice. They keep up the maintenance. Again, it’s not luxury, but it’s fine for the price. They don’t have refrigerator for my insulin, so I had to keep my insulin in the travel cooler which is less regulated. They do have a microwave available in the lobby, so not having one in the room isn’t a huge deal. All in all, clean, comfortable, worked out well for me. I’ve stayed here a few times for work now and I prefer it to any other place nearby.
When we check in to rooms like this I always go straight for the reviews. This room was interesting. There was a hole in the wall with toilet paper stuffed inside. 2 other bad patch jobs and some funky painting. There was some thing sticky looking on the shower wall and the pillows had no pillow covers between the actual pillow and pillow case. It was stained and not appealing (doubled in half inside the case was how i dealt with it). I saw no cockroaches like the other reviews had. But what gave this motel 5 stars from me is the bed was clean and made well. The air-conditioning worked way too well (a good thing). The shower got really hot and had wonderful pressure. And most of all it was cheap. If you are just looking for a affordable place to lay your head for the night this is the place for you. It's not a 5 star motel but it was exactly what we needed after 12 hours of driving. And yes I will stay there again.
I was totally satisfied with my stay here. Everything was as "close to home" as it could get. The comfort in being able to have our family dog, the friendliness of staff (each and every one of the staff members displayed such attentiveness, wanting to make our stay worthwhile) comfortable beds, great showers and the pool was absolutely, invigorating! Thank you motel 6 of Turlock! We will definitely choose your establishment again. Affordable and worthwhile. We"ll be back!
It was alright at first, when we were checking in the dude at the front was nice but also rude at the same time. When we got into our room, it was nice at first, but after we stayed for 2 days we started seeing cockroaches in the shower. The remodeled rooms are really nice but there's still a little bit of cracks in the doors and door frame. There were some bugs we found while we were in bed but other than that it was fine, the only good thing about this place was that the beds were comfortable. I would suggest wearing socks while you're walking on their hardwood floor because your feet get instantly dirty and it's disgusting.
The room wreaked of cigarette smoke in a non smoking room, the bath room was dirty and had a hole in the wall, not only could I see roaches but I could hear them in the walls. The ice machines had mustard and ramen bits... and it was clear my sheets were never cleaned. Very gross. Never again. Worst night stay I've ever had.
Stayed a couple nights and I was surprised that dispute it's closeness the freeway it wasn't too noisy. The staff is friendly Mr.Ken and the other's were very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thanks
