Great location right off the highway with shopping and restaurants walking distance or a quick drive. Employees were friendly and courteous. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no microwave or fridge in the room. The only microwave was located in the lobby.

I recently had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the room was not worth the high price I paid of 160 dollars. The first issue I encountered was with the bathroom door. It didn't open or close properly, and to make matters worse, it didn't lock. This was incredibly inconvenient and made me feel uneasy throughout my stay. The room itself was far from satisfactory. For the price I paid, I expected a certain level of comfort and cleanliness, but this was not the case. The floor was dirty, and it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned properly before my arrival. This lack of hygiene is unacceptable and made my stay very uncomfortable. Additionally, the amenities in the room were subpar. The television was very small, making it difficult to enjoy any downtime in the room. Given the amount I paid, I expected a larger, more modern TV. This added to my overall dissatisfaction with the room. To add insult to injury, I found another hotel nearby that offered a far better room for a lower price. The difference in quality was astounding. The other hotel room was cleaner, more comfortable, and had better amenities, all for less money. This made me feel even more frustrated with my choice to stay at this hotel. Overall, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The issues with the bathroom door, the dirty floor, the small television, and the overpriced room all contributed to a very negative experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and find a better place to stay.

I stayed at the motel quite a few times and nothing has changed. Rooms are still half way cleaned, dirty hallways, dogs everywhere leaving behind urine and poop. Insects everyone. AC doesn’t blow cold. Some on the bathtubs are old and worn. Bugs and roaches. I don’t recommend renting here! I was only offered a 10 percent discount

Came for the X Games. The stay itself was great, but the reason for this review is even better - my 10 year old son left his wallet and iPhone in the room when we’d checked out. They called us as many times as it took to let us know - every dollar is accounted for, and they were kind enough to help us get it mailed back. Thank you SO much for your honesty and professionalism - anytime we’re in the neighborhood, this is our place!

Manger is racist Tells you your not allowed to sit in car Told all of her workers that I sell myself even tho I’m here with my partner and friend She allows drunks to walk around and harass people Roaches walking all over the property around afternoon and night Not work it Any Complaints don’t matter because they will tell you that they are a private hotel. Nothing you report or put as a review Will never be resolved, had other workers calling the manager during the night due To guest harassment, but due to her racism, she didn’t listen and made me and my partner leave and just because I’m African-American staying in a hotel, she believes that I am Selling myself Avoid hotel if you can, the La Quinta next-door is very nice. Staff are very respectful. Hotel is very clean and if you guys book on the website, you can get free nights.

A/C doesn't work, blankets are nonexistent, and curtains are super ratty. Otherwise my stay was OK and better than the last experience at this location. Staff was nice and fast. This quality was OK when motel 6 was $29.99 a night but it is a lot more now and I would hope for more care in simple things like the curtains. Warning - I think a lot of people LIVE in this hotel.

I usually choose Motel 6 when I’m traveling since they are incredibly efficient and pet friendly. I appreciate that they don’t charge extra for that. It helps a lot with money. Most places will charge $50 a night and treat you like a criminal if you have a dog. Thousand Oaks is the best location that I’ve stayed at so far. The property is huge, it’s nice and quiet, lots of grassy areas to walk my dog. It has a laundry facility on site that I took advantage of since I was staying multiple nights, and the vending machine had the best snacks and nice cold soda pop. I’m very picky about shower pressure and this one was great. I also feel like the water is cleaner in Thousand Oaks. I felt super clean after my shower. House keeping took great care of my room. Love it when I’m stocked with fresh towels and soap. The only negative thing I can say is that there were a lot of smokers near my room. I can’t stand the smell. It burns my eyes and makes me sick to my stomach. Unfortunately, that was out of my control. Also, I noticed the shower was heavily clogged, like water up to my ankles, which was disappointing. But I stopped by the Walmart around the corner and bought some Drano. Not a big deal. If I’m ever in Thousand Oaks again, I’ll be back!

BUYER BEWARE! This was my 2nd stay at Motel 6 within a week, and the customer service, grounds, and room 106 all had major issues. The walls were not as thin, yet I had mildew - and what looked like black mold - in my bathroom which smelled poorly, the bathroom door was jammed, and the bed was uncomfortable. There was dog poop on the grounds as well. I told the staff about the room, and asked for a discount for the inconvenience, and she gave me 20% off ($99 for a room in this condition was still too much to me). She also suggested we could move to another room which, by the way, had an issue with the bathroom door not even closing, or she said we could move out. I didn't feel cared for nor valued by this associate. I paid the money because I had not the time nor did I have another hotel to move into. Maintenance came soon thereafter and cleaned the bathroom as well as caulked the tub. Sadly, the mildew smell lingered, and we found a place to go the next day.

Awesome location central to Thousand Oaks and good places to eat. Plenty of parking in the back. Love the interior space! It's so open and spacious with a very personal touch (none of that corporate/franchise vibe)... I felt comfortable as soon as I
