Motel 6 Thornton, CO - Denver - Featured Reviews (2330)
Great experience. Check in was a breeze and friendly. Room was very clean. AC was missing the front cover but wasn't a big deal for me. Room was quite. Light inside shower wasn't working but being a Maintenance Guy it just needed to be tightened a lil which I did and worked after. Will be staying again next time I'm in town. Thank you Motel 6 - Thornton.
Room was not cleaned, table and counter were gross when I arrived. Non smoking room smelled as if someone had smoked a pack of cigarettes right before we walked in. Bathroom smelled of raw sewage. Front desk was reluctant to acknowledge guests, when I arrived they were unsure if they had any clean rooms despite me arriving well after check in. Not worth $100. Motel 6 has never been worth $100, that's the whole point of the motel. If they want to start charging like they're not questionably safe with no amenities and cheap quality rooms, they need to make some changes that makes the price jack worth it. Location is convenient and I like that they don't charge extra for pets.
Right off the highway and close to the heart of Denver. Rooms are pretty basic but clean, great value for the price, and a hot shower with great water pressure. Not the best area, but rooms were quiet and we didn’t have any problems, just some rough looking characters. Corey was so kind and helpful at check in, recommending great places to eat and fun things to do while in Denver for us adults and our child. Next morning she was also our housekeeper, and happily grabbed us fresh towels for the day. Will definitely be back on our way out of town.
This is no longer owned by Motel 6, but the clientele are still typical of many inner city Motel 6s. We did not feel safe leaving our car in the parking lot, and there were issues with the room, so we left and found another hotel. The counter employees were of little help, but a manager the next day hopefully fixed the billing issues.
I would avoid this place at all cost. I was travelling with my two cats (grateful a hotel accomodates this and have used this chain for 12 years because of it.) However after driving 12 hours and very tired, I got a room that stunk of pot and I was too exhausted to leave. The place was not clean - floor was not swept, table dirty and hair in the sink. But worst still - I came home with a gift that I will never want from them. Bed Bugs that I brought back to Canada with me. This is a nightmare - will cost me now $1200 to spray and emotionally messed up. ||||The managed said they don't have a problem but didn't offer at all any evidence that they spray. but she said 'there but someone has been in the same room for 2 weeks now and they didnt complain.' ||||That is the issue - a once reputable motel is pretty much just a homeless shelters with guests staying for weeks on end, bringing crap. I feel bad for people needing a place to stay but after place and the dive I stayed at in Indiana a few years ago, so long Motel 6... Spend $30 more and stay somewhere cleaner. ||||My hair also itches for days and I think I got head lice also (washed it with vinegar for 3x). Long and short, double check before you sleep.. won't be staying at a motel 6 chain ever again at all costs. Total nightmare and of course, they won't take accountabity. Note, the hotel I stayed at the next night in Omaha (J street) was pristine clean, new beds, new covers. My only mistake is that I should have ran as fast as I can and I didn't.
This was an emergency stop because we were too tired to drive. It is smoking or non-smoking which is wild in 2024. It was nice and quiet and the T.V. was nice and new. We slept great had a nice hot shower and hit the road. If you want to go to Denver but don't want to pay Denver prices this is a great hotel for a quick sleep-and-go.
Corey was great at check in, quickly and efficiently worked through the line in her lobby. Room was basic, hot water wasn’t the best, first room I was in smelled like feet and fish, but Corey got me moved into another room and it was just fine. It’s hard to believe Motel 6 has gone up so much in pricing, but hasn’t kept the rooms up to par.
The people at the front desk are really rude, just like they don't want to be there and it's an imposition to do their jobs!! We went to our room and found the carpet was sticky and gross!! When we looked at the bed and yes it was made but there was popcorn and idk whatever else was on it then....we turned the blankets down and there's a blood stain on the sheets and food, sticky popcorn on them AND when we went back to the office to explain this they said that the maids cleaning charts said they were cleaned and stocked..B.S.!!! When we said we would not stay in such a disgusting place they refused to give us our money back and we were only there for a 1/2 hour?? It took awhile but they did finally refund our money and went to a wonderful place and enjoyed it!!! I don't recommend anyone to go there ever!!! --0 stars!!!

First time eating at Country Thai and it was AMAZING! The staff is so friendly and nice. We ate inside and the food was ready hot, fresh and didnt have to wait too long. The portions are big and definitely worth the price. Prices are also very reason
Located not too far from downtown with plenty of parking spaces. Place is filled with mid tier brand names and had some pretty good offers. Clothing discounts are better if you buy multiple pieces from the same outlet. Dining options are a little lim
