Motel 6 Texarkana, AR - Motel in Texarkana - 4300 N State Line Ave, USA

This specific Motel 6 stole money from me. I called to setup a reservation and never got a confirmation email due to my email being misspelled (understandable mistake). However, despite no confirmation email, I showed up to check in and found nobody at the front desk to help me. I took this as a reason to go try to check in else where. Despite not staying there, I was charged for the night's stay. I have been in contact with Motel 6 to get in touch with the General Manager and have been hung up on multiple times after trying to inquire about a refund. Very unfortunate experience.

The people here are nice, yes. Pet friendly and everything. But the room I got was nasty it wasn’t cleaned there was stuff all over the walls of the room that looked like it never been cleaned. There are HUGE cockroaches and bees in the bathroom and by the sink. There were panty liners stuck to the bottom of the tables when I got there, nasty. Mold on the bedsheets, the shower had hair in it from the previous people who were here. The housekeeping doesn’t clean the rooms I guess, it’ll take maybe about 30 minutes to clean a little tiny room it doesn’t take long to make time to clean a hotel room. I’m surprised this place is still running.

The room was clean and comfortable for someone just passing through. Yes, somethings are not perfect, the most disappointing is that the pool was closed. The location provided easy access to where I needed to go in Texarkana, as well as in and out of the city.

We came down for Mother’s Day. My wife reserved the room and asked specifically for a smoking room to be on the bottom and even noted we would be arriving early before check in. We got there on Saturday may 11th at 6 am and tried to check in and was told no till 9 am. We waited till 1 pm and went to check in . She walked in told them she had a reservation was informed if wanted smoking it would be up stairs didn’t have any downstairs available. So not only did we not got what we requested via the reservation the room was horrible. Burn holes all over the bed. Some kind of soda or something on the walls the door didn’t even looked closed when it was.

Don’t come here if you wanted hot water for a shower. You won’t get it. For a new motel it should have hot water.

On arrival, the foot traffic and car traffic were intense. Kinda like a busy pharmacy! 🤷‍♀️ We get our room key and attempt to open the door. Mind you, I'm a big gal with pent-up frustration, and this bish didn't budge. My smaller framed traveling partner hip slammed it just right and found the sweet spot for the rest of the weekend. I tried once more with the force of the big Kelce brother and FAILED. I'm sure I left my mark and likewise.... the lighting was out, so my friend had trouble putting her face on daily. It takes a lot of light to cover such sights!! Then there was Earl the roach 🪲. We all know "Earl had to die," so we let him sit there suffering for whatever karma was serving him. Overall, we we're safe, Earl was still alive, and I'm sure we'll be back. 🤣🙃

Ive stayed here a couple of times while traveling. They are always friendly,always clean and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and comfy. I was kinda disappointed there was no coffee maker but hey I was there for a good night's sleep. I was awoken at 1 am by someone yelling at the top of their lungs and running up and down the corridor. It scared me to death but an all around excellent stay.

Motel 6- Akhil made the experience memorable. The beds were great no bugs at all. Bathrooms were clean. A/C was cold as ice. In-Lobby Charging for Apple Watch was even possible!
