Motel 6 Tampa, FL - Fairgrounds - Motel in Tampa - 9942 E Adamo Dr, USA

The people that were staying there were a little shady, and they had a whole family sleeping in the coffee room, which was directly next to ours, as well as somebody sleeping on the stairs, where we went out to walk the dog. There was roaches inside our room, the AC did not work properly in the room, felt very damp, and the AC would not shut off one night, and I got into the chills, and could not recover without help from my husband. there was also mold in the bathroom and on the ceiling walls I took pictures we were never asked how our stay was while we were there. Our keys to our room in a three day stay had to be changed out two times because we got locked out of our room. My husband parked in a customer parking spot and was told he had to move his car because that was for employees only it was just a very horrible, horrible, horrible horrible three days. The only time that was pleasant was when I was outside of the room while in the room, I felt completely sick, nauseous. headache, and could not sleep with all the noise of people hanging out in the coffee room next to us all night

Clean and comfortable; staff is friendly and personable. Manager Rudy is great and the staff is super understanding. As with every affordable motel, there may be other guests that might be less than savory to certain people—just mind your business and don’t expect the Hilton for motel prices 🤷🏻‍♀️ Pets are welcome here; I have my two dogs and there are many others on the property. Pool is very clean. Lots of restaurants, stores, etc. within walking distance (if needed).

We where there for 3 months then new owners took over and changed everything and even tried charging us a deposit after being there 3 months. Before the new owner Rudy and Howard where awesome people shot out to will and Jose to.

Shady people work here. They will steal your security deposit and make up excuses that dont add up onto why they’re holding it. do not waste your money here

This is my go too hotel and what’s become my home away from home when I come too Tampa. I travel for work a lot and I’m in this area several times a month. It’s affordable, check in is alway easy, beds are comfortable, hot hot water, ac works wonders & the rooms are clean ( in fact it’s the only motel where I had to complain a little that my room was a little too clean lol). The staff is helpful, one of the employees Jose saved the day one weekend when Expedia screwed up my reservation. He went out of his way to get me a room. It’s surrounded by plenty of good affordable food including an all you can eat sushi. And I found it’s only 20-30 minutes from most things in Tampa. I hate staying somewhere else when I come to Tampa. Highly recommend

If u from the hood and u ain't trippin about homeless population and dirtiness this hotel might be an option. But one thing I DONT DO IS ROACHES. And they crawling all over this joint. I stay here frequently, sometimes roaches is worse than other times but it's now getting warmer and the roaches is abundant here. Definitely ain't worth $100 @ night. Police also active and all over the place. Just be wary of this place. But it's better than the Red Roof I guess

This hotel is cool but the house keepers are very lazy . What’s the purpose of house keeping if the guest have to make their bed etc this is how they left my room . I’m extremely disappointed and the water was off for numerous hours
