Motel 6 Tacoma, WA - Fife - Featured Reviews (2083)
I was highly disappointed as I had booked a non smoking room and the only room they had left was to give me a smoking room. It reeked and smelled like they just cleaned it and were trying to air it out but weren’t successful in getting the smell of heavy smoke out. Also, my toilet kept refilling throughout the night? I was also disappointed that my cost more than doubled because it was a busy weekend. When I questioned it to the front desk she told me that I had to call to find out costs. I booked a month ahead of time and they didn’t honor the rate I initially booked with. The front desk check out lady was not so helpful with any inquiries. I was very grateful to the check in lady though for trying to be so efficient and helpful. The location didn’t feel so safe and my door didn’t feel like it was as secure. I could hear people wandering throughout the outside. I’ve stayed at many of Motel6 locations before but this one, I won’t be staying here again.
I stayed there for a few days and the room was clean and it was overall very quiet. What was really outstanding is the service. I had to check out earlier than expected and Diana at the front desk was amazing. She was able to save me the two nights when most places would have fought to reimburse one night. I would definitely go back there.
When I stay at Motel 6 I have a certain level of expectation and they met it. The pool was wonderful, the A/C in the room cooler it perfectly and I had a solid quiet nights rest. The bed was way more comfortable then I expected. Thanks Motel 6 for providing what you do.
Our room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it’s a non smoking hotel. The hotel was sold out, so they couldn’t switch our room. Sketchy people walking around outside. There are plenty of lights outside in the parking lot areas. It’s right off the freeway. It’s a 2 star Motel 6. Don’t expect 5 star luxury.
Natelie is amazing. Hands down she is truly a customer service driven employee. Always caring and more than willing to figure out whatever she can to help your check in go smooth. I've stayed here many times and I have always witnessed her treating everyone with respect. She is always smiling and professional, and I am thankful I have the pleasure of seeing her. Great customer service is not a common thing now days, and I know when ever I stay at motel 6 I will be treated well every time. I can't leave out the day shift either. The manager is great. The house keeping is great. It's obvious the team at this establishment are above average in their profession. I would stay here over anywhere else, hands down.
It's been over a year since I last stayed here and I must say I see a lot of improvement. The first thing I look at when I check in is, well, the lobby. It was clean and well organized. Some signage here and there but tastefully presented and not overwhelming. (Not hand written and taped to the wall like some.) Then I am greeted by the front desk host. Not an overly friendly or chatty gentleman and he was efficient, well groomed and dressed appropriately and very professional. Those characteristics are the ones I value and expect ...the front desk is the face of the motel /hotel and the check in process sets the tone for the stay. He is a 5 star representative of this establishment. Then I get to the room, when I open the door I don't smell anything... nothing is what I expect to smell ,not over powering glade plugins masking stench or worse, the stench itself, it had no smell at all and in my opinion that's how it should be. It is decorated in the new standard motel 6 look which I like. The window sill was clean, the air system was also clean and most importantly functioning correctly both heat and A/C. It has a small cafe style tall table but only one chair which for me was fine as I was traveling alone but they normally have two. The table top was intact and stable. The bed is soft yet firm, the bedding clean and crisp. There is no dresser , only a long TV stand with shelves that I was able to use. They is also a closet area with hangers....wooden hangers ...classy. The restroom , limited counter space and a little small. Toilette and sink both function properly, I had to reconnect the pole thing under the sink so I could open and the close the drain stop no big deal . The shower, walk in , shower head works well and the water gets super hot if you want it to, both hot and cold function properly. The restroom is clean and stocked with wash cloths, hand towels and bath towels, also a spare wash cloth folded neatly by the sink acting as a pillow for two bars of hand soap. No shampoo or conditioner is provided. Not a big deal to me. What I would like to see is a mini fridge...and a coffee pot....some might even say a microwave. I am so used to seeing them in every other place I have stayed recently I have come to expect them and I always bring refreshments and look forward to making a fresh cup of hot coffee in the morning before I check out in the morning ...that I didn't get to do. The grounds outside, tastefully landscaped and free of debris. Outdoor pool was not open but it is too early for that. There was some minor construction work happening but it was not overwhelming or disturbing.
Do not stay here unless you smoke cigarettes. All THREE rooms we tried reeked of cigarette smoke. Homeless dude hanging out under back stairs well. Only redeeming quality was the lovely woman behind the counter who gave us a refund after the 3rd room we checked was intolerable.
The room was clean and the front desk service was very friendly and helpful. However, the property was crawling with suspicious looking people including people just cruising around in cars and a homeless guy "camped" in one of the pet areas. I had to be careful walking my dog on the grass as I was concerned about drug paraphernalia. Additionally, there was a ton of dog poop that hadn't been picked up. Since my room was next to the pool and there were people smoking at it, my room smelled like cigarettes. Probably won't return here.
Just canât beat a messy pile of meat, onion, pickle and deliciousness. All this on a toasted bun. Perfection. Like all of these burgers of the old guard, they have that formula that makes them endure in the public pallet. Serve this up with a thick
Was helping my guy shop for a car today and when it was all said and done, we were starving so wanted somewhere close and Sapporo sushi came up on Google. Its a cute little restaurant, lots of decor on the walls and the servers are really sweet and p

This place is the best. Always great food and awesome service. Very nice people. They give you small sample foods while you wait for your meal. We have eaten here 4 times so far with plans for many more visits. 5 years later and still eating here. It
Love this place!!! Unfortunately, I'm only here when I make my way up to Seattle but every time I go, everything is delicious!!! Kudos to the manager for helping me properly order "chili on the side" for my entire order because I was traveling and di
