Motel 6 Staunton, VA - Motel in Staunton - 96 Baker\'s Ln, USA

The staff was super friendly. The price was really good. The room was not clean. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. The faucets had lots of soap scum on them. The table had crumbs and greasy finger prints all over it. The floor had dirt all over it and felt slimy in between the beds. I had to wear my shoes to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The room didn't smell bad though, and the beds seemed clean. They were super hard, but that's okay for some. Not sure why people own lodging facilities if they can't provide the customer with a clean environment. With all ceramic and tile floors, it doesn't seem like that would be a hard task.

This is my go to motel in this area, I have stayed here several times and keep coming back. It is clean; the staff is super friendly. The parking is free and easy (even with a trailer). I always have a relaxing, quiet stay at this motel and can't recommend it enough. My business takes me to Charlotteville often and I always stay here, about 30 minutes away.

I can’t give it 5 stars because it is a little dated. However the property and rooms are clean, comfortable beds, a mini fridge, microwave and spacious rooms. The vinyl floor is nice to walk on. I had my dog and the dog walk area was spacious with trash cans for the dog waste.This place was a good place to stop on a road trip especially if you have pets. No charge for pets to stay unless they do some damage.This was a totally unexpected stop. I was only 3 hours in on a 6 hour road trip. I was traveling with my granddaughter and dog. I booked my room online in the hotel parking lot on the Motel 6 App. Front desk staff were professional and polite. Easy check in and I used my AARP discount.Easy to access from Interstate 81. I also had a pizza delivered to my room. Good price for pizza and delivery. They also had coffee at the front desk. No coffee in the room.

The front desk attendant was prompt and very friendly. They made us feel very welcome to be there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Next time we are in the area we will definitely stay here again. Located right off the interstate close to Staunton and Harrisonburg. Great room and location without breaking the bank.

I haven’t seen anything this nice at this price for many years. Don’t let the exterior fool you. The room was recently remodeled, had a comfy bed, cable tv, big fridge & cold a/c. I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Motel 6 is often our go to because we have a dog. It could be a little bit cleaner like at the edges of the floor around the room, but honestly that's very nit picky. It's an excellent price, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I see some complain about the sheets and they're not the highest thread count, but their your basic cotton sheets. Maybe a little thin, but we had no issue with them at all. The beds were very comfortable, delicious free coffee in the morning and right off the highway on our drive home. They're also never charge for pets. We always stay in a pet room and we have no complaints about the condition. Restaurants aren't super nearby, but not that big a deal since you're driving. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I have to give this motel 6 a 5 star review due to one of its employees. Her name is Stephanie and she works at the front desk. Once she realized I was having problems with my motorcycle and saw me in the morning getting ready to leave. She ran out with a piece of paper she had handwritten for me with some of the shops in the area that might be able to take a look at my motorcycle. She was an absolute doll and puts an incredible face on Motel 6. I will be staying at their hotels in the future. This due in great parts just by the experience I had at this particular one.
