Motel 6 Springfield, OR - Eugene North - Motel in Springfield - 3752 International Ct, USA

We encountered the worst experience with a rude, unprofessional check in clerk. The mountain of errors and lack of communication definitely put us off from going back to Motel 6 in Springfield, Oregon.|First off, I would like to say the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the cleaning staff was very friendly and prompt when we asked for a second pillow.|As far as our dissatisfaction, allow me to explain the situation and circumstances. |We made the reservation weeks in advance and had explained we needed a downstairs room, we have a large well-behaved dog, my husband is disabled and requires a cane to walk, he cannot do stairs And we were coming to town for his eye to be operated on. |This was very clear when making the reservations!|We showed up after his eye surgery right around check in time (3 o’clock hour), I started the check in process and was told my husband had to come in and show his ID, my 76 year old husband came in eye patched up and using his cane, showed his ID and I continued on with the reservation, gave her my card (which was already on file), took the paperwork, room key card, WiFi, etc. she handed me at which time I notice room began with a 2, I asked if the room was upstairs and she said Yes. I then informed her this was not what we asked for. |She was obviously unhappy with my displeasure and rudely told me they were low on clean sheets. I told her no problem we will wait for a downstairs room, she said she could not quarantine us a downstairs room. When I asked her to check her computer to see if someone had checked out of a downstairs room, I was told that is not possible, when I suggested she call room maintenance to see if they were working on any … |I believe you have the idea, this was a completely unpleasant, unprofessional, clearly not wanting to help or understand my concerns, it was an ugly experience! |I then told her to please cancel the room that we were going to go elsewhere. I was then informed that she could not guarantee that we would get our money back and if it was approved it would be 3 to 5 days! |My husband and I are on SSI and cannot afford to have our money tied up like that or worse yet, not be reimbursed. |So we opted to stay, I asked about an elevator and was told there was none (I could hear the one the staff was using). I had to carefully walk my husband up the stairs to the room, come back down for the dog and make third trip for overnight bag. Completely Rude to not offer any help. |Laura, the check in clerk is easily in her 30’s and it makes me wonder how she would feel if someone treated her parents and/or grandparents the way she treated us.|Needless to say we have No intentions of staying there again!

I’m honestly impressed- this is probably the nicest motel 6 I’ve stayed in, and by far the best customer service I’ve had. I tried to car camp to save money but at 4:30am I gave up and came to this motel, hoping to sleep just a few hours. Not only did Brian check me in for the whole day so I could leave later if I wanted, but he also waived the early check in fee for me. Additionally, the in-person price was $100 more than it was online but he was willing to match the online price for me. The room was clean and surprisingly updated- 1 star off because it was a non-smoking room that smelled very heavily of smoke, the side table had been broken off the wall, and the beds are very firm (as expected with cheap motels). The pillows were very nice though, and overall this motel exceeded my expectations.

Your two employees that worked last night (Brian and Brenda) were extremely helpful and very considerate towards my girlfriend and I on many issues. I was a supervisor for a very large business in Las Vegas (over 2000 employees) for over 25 years. And these two have everything I ever looked for in a quality and dedicated employee….. Your company is very lucky to have these two within your employ… thank you… Richard Faber

Motel 6 off international court in Springfield was nice clean and staff were awesome they were patient helpful and kind. Chris Brian and rhianna and a few other staff members that I didn’t catch the name of were of good spirits friendly and of great help. I’d stay here again and recommend to family overall great experience.

EXCELLENT and helpful customer service. I accidentally made a same-day reservation for this "Springfield" when the Springfield I was staying at was on another coast! I called Motel 6 and they were able to get the message to this location. A few minutes later I saw that they cancelled the reservation for me. I called and (Brenda I believe?) picked up and confirmed they would not charge my card. I think I was even out of the cancelation window... in any case, I am very appreciative they saved me my money and were able to work with my mistake. If I'm ever in Oregon I'll be sure to pick this Motel 6 for my stay.

My said the motel sex was enjoyable and convenient. Price was great. Rooms were clean. Staff was very attentive and helpful and the freeway is right next to the motel which is annoying but overall nice day was great. Dennys is right next-door get a discount if you show them your key card and the convenient stores are nearby Front desk guy was awesome. I think he was the manager, but he was really helpful and funny.

Great Motel 6! As we know, motel 6’s come in all shapes and sizes. This was one of the nicer ones I’ve been to. Nice stand in shower, nice, quiet location. Staff was very helpful. I had an issue with my TV and Olivia was up in less than two minutes to get it fixed. Thanks Olivia!

We stayed in a dissabilty room. Room 150 to be exact. As soon as we opened our door to get into our room a wave of cigrate smoke engulfed us. All of our bedding was dirty, dog hair, some dirt, even a crusty booger. The pillow cases had what looked like a lipstick print of salsa on it. Their fridge was on the floor so if you have trouble bending down or squatting then i feel bad for you. I was wanting one extra pillow and the receptionist said they were all out. Sleeping was horriable what with the cigrate smoke that lingered
