Motel 6 Spokane, WA - West - Motel in Spokane - 1508 S Rustle St, USA

This was the worst place I've ever stayed at. When we arrived we were informed that the card programmer was broken so we couldn't have keys to get into the room on our own. This made having cats in the room difficult. We had to ask the front desk person to let us in our room when we wanted back in to bring our luggage in. He said he'd only be there until 11pm so I'm not sure how we would have gotten back in after that. When we got into our room we discovered several cigarette holes in the blankets and what appeared to be mold or fungus on the mattresses. I don't know how this location is still in business. It's running on hopes and dreams. I'll try to post photos on here later once we get moved into our house. I'm still in the process of trying to get my money back. The front desk lady said I could only get 50% back. I'm still waiting for their manager to contact me. I called the number on the website and those people have been helpful just not the people running this location. If you need to stay at a Motel 6 in Spokane choose the east location.

Admittedly, there were some questionable things about this Motel 6, but I had such a good stay! The staff was super friendly and diligent in working to satisfy guests and maintain safety. Our room was clean, with newer furnishings, mattresses, and electronics. The facilities seemed clean and in good working condition. The halls were clean, smelled of cleanliness, and narru a bug to be found! Which I appreciate the most, lol. The questionable things were some of the guests, but that's absolutely expected in this kind of area and Washington state. I found a lot of great qualities in this place, along with situations worth of 1999 COPS episodes for great entertainment without the danger. Things were very quiet and peaceful at night. If you're looking for a good priced place to rest your head at night, with good spirited staff, this is it! Best way to get excellent service is to have a great attitude and respect that the staff puts up with a LOT- no matter where you stay.

The rooms seem clean and maintained well enough - no problem there. They allow pets and the dog smell in the corridors is very strong. Generally, they need a lot of minor repairs. Five police cars were here during the last 36 hours responding to trespassers and minor thefts. There are some sketchy characters in and around the building. I would NOT stay here again.

It was very nasty. No towels in the room. No soap in the room drug people everywhere I was a single man scared to stay there. Called Motel six headquarters and Canada. No response. Call back again to Motel six in Canada, so there was not much they could do Could not leave the light on Because somebody stole the lightbulb

Chose this Motel as we arrived late from London UK Via Seattle to Spokane.|Picked up a rental car and drive here just before 11pm.|Place was dark and looked OK, but many junkies walking around outside smoking and sharing other gear.|Reception very good and put us in a quiet room on second floor at top, so we slept OK.|Hotel is a very low end budget motel and you get what you pay for even if it’s advertised as something ten times better.||Spend a few extra dollars and move across town to Wyndham or even motel8s.

I am staying in this hotel for 6 days ONLY bc I had no choice. This motel is by far the WORST I have ever been at. Truck stops are better than this motel. I flew in last night and was assigned a room, the TV didn't work plus the neighbors upstairs were fighting. Mind you I got here at midnight. So went to the front desk and the gentleman moved me. Great! Now my new room isn't bad but now there is a family literally next door and I can hear their whole conversation..... the kids are screaming and the parents are screaming at the kids. I have kids and I never allowed mine to do that when we were around others due to respect. The price I paid to stay here I shouldn't have to listen to all this nonsense. There isn't a microwave, mini fridge in the room. The dryers have a sign that says do not use. I am here for a week and don't have the extra money to blow on an uber to a laundry mat. It would be nice for some type of refund considering all this nonsense is going on but I doubt I'll get it.

Definitely a sketchy motel 6. People obviously on drugs hanging out in the lobby and lots of more people in various unfortunate states of life hanging out in the parking lots. The worst part was our key didn't work for our room and we had to go get it re-keyed. Despite this, the staff was friendly. But better to skip this place and pay a little extra for the peace.

Convenient location and outside front landscaping is nice, but that’s where the positive ends unfortunately. The door into the building isn’t secured at night so anyone can access it, myself and two other guests had to wait 15 mins in the office for someone to assist us upon check in, the shower had mildew in it and there was a cover missing from exposed (capped) wires above the headboard. Front desk seemed unbothered about wait time or other concerns, with no apology or offer to make amends. I’ve been a dedicated Motel 6 customer for years, and this is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had across 3 states. I didn’t expect a full refund since I stayed both nights, but an apology for the wait and some sort of amends would have been appropriate. Definitely not up to Motel 6 standards.
