we booked two rooms for a whole week in one of the rooms we were moved four different times because of a bad another room the door didn’t lock then the TV looked horrible very dark and when we finally got an OK room, we had loud neighbors till 1 o’clock in the morning. In the second room, they went four days without a TV even though I reported it the second day we were there took them three days to finally move my family to a different room and still the TV was dark with white bubbles on the screen, the maintenance fan confess that the whole hotel was going through a remodel and he was not being informed when things needed to be done. It took me on the fifth day of our day to get a hold of him as he was walking by And he went to the office to tell them how bad the rooms that we were staying in were so they moved us on our fifth day there and we were checking out a day and a half later. it also seems the front office does not communicate well with maintenance. The manager on duty was nice but it takes more than one person to make this hotel a nice comfortable and courteous one I will not be staying at this hotel again and I plan on going back because I have family there, but I will choose to stay at a different hotel, even if I have to pay more

The hotel is what you expected from a Motel 6. Front desk staff Alice was excellent in getting my room assigned and checking to make sure all was well at 1am. Some people hanging around could make it feel sketchy. Room was solid, good AC, good WiFi and decent shower. 5 stars for a 2 star level hotel as it was excellent value for $. Transportation is a bit of a pain as Uber was expensive and the train is a mile away to walk. Bring those earplugs! Planes are wicked loud but easily handled with earplugs.

The room only had two pillows for both me and my girlfriend to share and had a weird smell that just wouldn't go away. It was clean and located in a iffy location. This place is definitely for those who don't have much funds in their budget. I would suggest this place in an emergency situation but that's about it

I came to visit Motel 6 around 2am where I needed a room due to an emergency. Alice at the front desk accommodated be the best she could, all while being kind and courteous. I was having a terrible night and people like Alice make life that much brighter. Thank you so much Alice I appreciate it!

I’ve utilized this hotel many times over the past several years, it is very basic but does the job if needing somewhere to sleep if staying in Chicago area and not wanting to spend a lot of money. However, just be aware that there’s often cops and sketchy stuff going on in this lot. Other things to note: -you might want to bring extra pillows because they only give 2 per bed whereas most hotels give 4 per bed -see photo: gaps in curtains so I used a hotel hanger to clip curtains closed -very very loud airplanes overhead because of close proximity to O’Hare airport so you may want to bring earplugs. Super cool views of planes though. -free parking, but need to get a parking pass at front desk -$15 early check in fee if you check in before 3pm which they didn’t tell me about until they started charging me but thankfully I noticed it in time and said I would just come back later to avoid the fee (unprofessional to not be up front with customers about fees) -very very basic rooms; you may want to bring an extension cord or surge protector etc because there’s not many outlets to charge phone etc -but yes this location is one of my go-to locations when needing somewhere inexpensive to stay around Chicago area but not gonna lie it’s kind of sketchy Also, forgot to take a pic of it but the toilet seat in room 128 was peeling off and had what was presumably poopstains from past guests stuck in the peeling parts. Please replace that toilet seat. Tacky for a business to not upkeep and to just use old products to save money.

First time staying at a motel 6 and I would not recommend it to anyone. Although it was a budget motel and close to the airport, the room didn’t feel clean and sanitary. The room smelled like cigarettes and there was a lot of people hanging by the staircase to the point where I felt unsafe.

I had a schedule mixup at the airport that forced me to stay in Chicago for one night. I had a bunch of complications, trying to book a room, but Chloe went above and beyond to help me get settled and situated. Great experience!

I paid around 70 dollars a night for this motel which is the cheapest one I found, i spent 4 nights there and I'm satisfied overall however the room needs better assistance, i found a lot of hair in the beds and the furniture is very old and feels like it's gonna break any time, The crouches, spiders are included with the stay. Also the room didn't have refrigerator and microwave so i had to spend a lot of money on fast food. The room was pretty clean, but i saw mold on the shower curtains. The staff was friendly. If you don't like noise from the planes don't go here, but i was fine with it, i don't mind the noise. I actually loved the location it's pretty close to everything, downtown 35 minutes without traffic, with traffic it's about an hour. I loved the hole in my bathroom door. Actually I had a pretty good stay, I've seen way worse so I'll probably stay here again.
