The people that own and work here are extremely friendly. They do their best to meet your needs. This is my second time staying here. The first time we had issues with the toilet and they resolved the issue immediately. I also had to check out early due to my partner having a mental health crisis. When I came back again a little over a week later I was nervous but it was never held against us. The rooms are clean though old. Truly pet friendly. Multiple locks on the doors so you can feel safe though I have never felt unsafe here. They have a coin operated washer and dryer for guests which is great if you are staying longer than few days. We were going to stay at the one on Central Ave but the owner was extremely rude, they are supposed to be pet friendly but said they didn't accept pets longer than 2 days, and when we got to the room it was disgusting. The sheet and mattress were extremely stained and there was a dead bug on the mattress. We will always stay at the Schenectady location from now on. Much cleaner and amazing customer service.
Zero issues with my 5-day stay. My room was clean, didn't smell, staff was extremely nice. Grounds were fairly clean I didn't have any issues with customers. Location was good enough for my job up here. Right at the exit ramp but didn't notice it inside the rooms.
AVOID AVOID AVOID. This motel is genuinely disgusting. The worst place I've ever stayed, no hyperbole. Every surface made me feel like I wanted to boil myself clean, and every smell was gut twisting. First off, they gave us a smoking room when we had asked for nonsmoking. Then they charged us $50 USD to "upgrade" to nonsmoking that smelled JUST as smokey as the smoking room. Second of all, it was SO. DIRTY. Every surface was visibly grimey and sticky. I didn't want to touch anything, let alone lie down and sleep. Thirdly, no hot water from the shower. At any time. And we tried day and night. Finally, when I returned to the motel mid-day of our second day there, there were cleaning people in our room. I stayed in my car and waited until they left, but when I went into the room, NOTHING HAD BEEN CLEANED. If I hadn't literally seen them go into the room, I wouldn't have known anyone was there. It was so weirdly violating. This place was so foul it basically ruined our trip. There is a $100 cancellation fee, and in the future, I would totally pay that much to just not stay here. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
Outside areas could use some attention, messy and beat up with poor lighting at night (I’m glad I travel with dogs), but the room was clean and everything functioned well. It was quiet at night.
Positive: The staff was very friendly. Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel being pet friendly was also a huge bonus. We were able to bring our cat and it was not an issue. Negative: "" Negative: ""
My gf & I have been staying here while awaiting our move in be date for our new place and the service and staff have definitely been the best we've experienced thus far. I couldn't ask for a better more convenient place to stay while we wait for our home to be moved in ready. 5 Stars All Around!
We stayed for a few nights and had no issues. Staff was friendly and housekeeping kept the room clean. Definitely stay again.
