Motel 6 Santa Fe, NM - Motel in Santa Fe - 3007 Cerrillos Rd, USA

I was wrapped from a movie set at 1:45 AM and had an hour's drive ahead of me. I could barely walk straight. Production gave me a room for the night. That God. I was thinking of sleeping in my truck! The room was clean. The AC worked. Bed was fine.

Slept there this past weekend. Well tried to sleep but the bed bugs kept us awake. They gave us another room but were in constant watch. Went to the bathroom and my feet were black and full of dirt. Walkway was scary as the railing appears to bow towards the parking lot and give an uneasy feeling. When checking out we spoke to staff about the bed bugs and they said the cleaning team was there cleaning. We saw the one cleaning lady enter the room and changed the bed sheets then leave the room. If that’s cleaning, no wonder they have bed bugs and filthy floors. Asked for refund for the hardship and they promised the manager would call us to make amends and we’re still waiting for the call.

My experience was absolutely horrible, I have never felt so unsafe in my life, the AC almost exploded and started pouring out smoke, we were given a smoking room even thought we asked for a non smoking room and the website lied and said that all rooms were smoke free, the cigarette smoke in the room was so bad my eyes and throat were burning, the front door was jammed when we got there and wouldn't close correctly, there was a suspicious black trash bag shoved up under the sink that had something squishy in it, (I didn't dare open it to find out) the floors were dirty, there was a layer of grime in the shower, there was burn holes in the bed sheets, there were janky people looking into our room, there was no screen on the window, the TV was broken, the internet was so bad even the data on my phone wasn't working right, there was no lock on the bathroom door, the broken AC was definitely a fire hazard as the bed was literally shoved up against it and the window curtains were laying on it, the smoke alarm was definatly broken. The only redeeming quality of this place was how nice the daytime staff was to us after we decided to cancel the rest of our reservation and go somewhere else. We decided to go to the hotel across the parking lot (the hotel Inn at Santa fe) and everything was so much better, on par with something like a holiday in express. DONT STAY AT THAT MOTEL 6!

This property is currently refreshing all of the rooms. I was upgraded from a Queen to a King at check in due to room type availability. The King room was renovated. Motel 6 checks off all the standards. A comfy bed and a bathroom to prepare yourself for the day. Water pressure is on the weak side, plus is you don’t have to shut the water off, just move the head down and still get warmth. There is a desk for a laptop but no outlets, which was odd. Only outlets are near the sink in the bathroom and on the sides of the bed. AC worked well and was rattle free but with such close proximity to the bed can be on the louder side. As mentioned in a previous review, no coffee maker, microwave or refrigerator. So not recommended for extended stays. TV is somewhat small but modern and bright! My only real complaint was the WiFi. It will stream videos with relatively low difficulty but loading websites is slow or fails to connect occasionally. Other than that the bed was comfy and I was able to fall asleep pretty fast once the 2nd floor guest settled down.

Positive: Updated room, good location Negative: No hair dryer in room. And no one answered the phone when I called to ask for one. It was hard to find the employee to check in the door was locked, and there was no bell to ring

Would give 0 stars if I could. Made reservations for 2 rooms and requested a late night check in that was approved 10 days before reservation date. Get to the hotel to be told that they only saved 1 room. Lady at the desk was so damn rude and now we're stuck in the car with 4 kids at 2:30am cuz every hotel that isnt an hour away seems to be fully booked

Fair price but disappointing from my last stay a year ago. Desk attendant not the friendliest and my non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. The security of my vehicle also a concern as the parking lot seemed to be a bit busier than usual.

One of the nicer motel 6’s I’ve been to. Everything in the room is new, clean and works. No weird smells. My only complaint is some of the channels on the TV are really bizarre (Kremlin propaganda channels like newsmax, realamvoice).
