It’s time to put your preconceived notions aside. This Motel 6 is fabulous. A perfect combo of 1960 kitsch with modern day amenities. The room are small, but well appointed with a smart use of space. the bathroom is unexpected large with a big shower. The air conditioner worked great. The bed and pillows comfy. And above all the else, the room was immaculate. Not one spec of dirt. Pair this with the wonderful upstairs outdoor sitting area with views of the beach and mountains and you have a great place for your morning coffee or glass of wine. And speaking of coffee, Trey, working the front office always has the complimentary coffee hot. And Shay has recommendations at the ready for anything you want to do. What an A+ team!

Great value for the area and the view, friendly staff. The rooms are small - but storage areas are thoughtful and we were able to fit luggage and tech for 2 adults and 2 teens without stress. Rooms are a kitschy 60s vibe and super cute. Very quiet, beautiful mornings there.

We were definitely positively surprised about the Motel6 at the beach. If course it is a typical motel 6 with its design you may know, but it seemed to us that it was rather new. Rooms are small but with a nice layout. It's a motel, so you also know that you can hear the people walking outside of your room. Alao liked that there was the sink in the bedroom, and then the toilet and the shower separated. One thing that needs to be fixed though. The faucet position in relation to the sink doesn't make sense as you always flood the washing table or don't get water. Overall, for us, it was a very good stay.

Lovely motel very close to the beach, literally just a 2 minute walk to the stunning beach. Rooms were nice, very clean, modern, apart from no coffee/tea facility. Car parking great, didnt use pool but it was tiny. |Walk to town was about 30 minutes, but also a quick drive with plenty of parking, lots of lovely restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Had a really negative experience here. I would advise getting a contract at check in. I called prior to arriving stating I was looking for three nights stay- I was told on the phone that three nights were available and given a price- when i arrived that same three night/price booking was verbally confirmed and i gave them my credit card. I didnt ask for a contract because we had verbally confirmed several times that i was paying for three nights and the total we had established. We discovered on night two that we were misled on the prices and the nights booked and that wed need to leave in the morning. I immediately reached out to the front desk to let them know the error and both the front desk and management completely denied any wrongdoing or error and made no efforts to correct the situation. I have since reported this to Motel 6 corporate and the better business bureau. Buyer beware and ask for a contract upfront.

This super clean, super crisp Motel 6 Classic is furnished in a fun kitschy way in cheery color patterns. “The best motel (of any brand) we’ve ever stayed in,” remarked my traveling companion. We originally needed a dog friendly motel but then decided to leave the pup at home; I’m sure he would have been safe and happy if we had decided to bring him.

Pretty decor, small but well-designed rooms, convenient location and parking, great in-room amenities (great shower, cute minifridge and microwave), and in a quiet area (not a lot of sound between rooms either). All-in-all we loved it!
