We were pleasantly surprised on our recent trip and stay at this Motel 6 location. Renovated 1950’s(?) building with spacious and clean albeit sparsely furnished rooms. A small table to accompany the chairs would have been nice. The check in was easy and front desk personnel friendly and cheerful. We had planned to swim but the pool was closed for chemical balancing. We actually didn’t think this location was very walkable but turned out it was with delicious Central American food trucks across the street and a public house with craft beers about a mile away. We loved the train and walked along the tracks through the Highland neighborhood back to the hotel. The adjacent lot is a bit of an eyesore from our room but that can’t be helped. Hopefully it will get developed into something useful.
I recently stayed at the Motel 6 Salem Expo Center in July and had a great experience. Despite booking through a third party, Cody at the front desk was incredibly helpful. He answered all my questions and ensured that my stay was safe, smooth, and reliable. As someone traveling from NYC, I appreciated his attentive service.||The room was clean, large, and spacious, which made for a comfortable stay. While there is a train that passes by occasionally, it only did so a few times and didn't disturb my sleep at all. The location was convenient, and overall, it was a pleasant stay. I would recommend this Motel 6 to anyone visiting the area.
I made a 4 day reservation a couple weeks in advance through another booking service. I paid in full through the services' app. But on the day I was to be arriving, I had unexpected difficulties, which delayed my ability to leave in time for what would be a 12hr drive. I called but was told they couldn't change the reservation through the app I used and if I wasn't there by 5am it would automatically be cancelled and I would not receive a refund. So, try as I might, I was unable to make it by 5am. I arrived at 7am and knew I was facing the possibility of sleeping in my car. Thankfully, THAT DIDN'T HAVE TO BE! CODY worked with me and the other service to honor my reservation. It was an unexpected blessing. His kindness and hospitality was more than I could have expected . It meant a lot to me since I'm an older woman traveling alone. Thanks so much Cody and staff!!
The room with double bed is as expected in a Motel 6. Beds are not great and a bit small for 2 adults. We wanted to have some rest at the pool after a long sunny day… and the pool was closed ! I wish we had known that before booking because the price was not reduced. Of course no breakfast as usual in Motel 6. And the worst thing: the noise. The train is just behind the hotel. Will for sure never come back here.
I booked a reservation for an upcoming event for 3 nights. I arrived and checked into my room. I looked around and sat in my room 10 minutes before I left looking for another option. The noise was awful, there was a legitimate 1/2" to 3/4" gap between the bottom of the door and floor. I never would have lasted there the 3 nights I had reserved. I came to relax and sleep not listen to people talking in the parking lot. I am awaiting to see if motel 6 gives me a refund as the front desk employee said they would.
I'm not fond of motels but when you have that one employee that is super cool and friendly it definitely makes things less stressful. Cody at motel 6expo center is a great asset to your company. He is awesome. I'll go back every time cause of him. Can't speak highly enough about him
We were on a Lil trip to visit family and stayed a night at motel 6. The train ran right behind the motel but surprisingly it didn't bother us. Very nice 🙂 rooms. The staff were not as friendly as I would've liked, but more business like.
Simple (not fancy) but clean, roomy and comfortable. No room coffee but the lobby has both regular and decafe. Microwave and fridge very helpful. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Exactly what we needed near Silver Falls State Park for hiking and wildflowers.
barre3 Salem is the best! So supportive, fun classes, great instructors. I look forward to every class. Plus I've lost over 10 pounds in just 2 months, and I like the way I look in the big barre mirror more and more every day. I am so grateful barr
I've been coming for about 3 months and I'm in love with this workout program. I feel engaged and motivated to attend multiple times a week. The coaches are super kind and everyone is very supportive. I can't recommend it enough!
Some thing for everyone to enjoy! Old timers take a trip back in time to when steam ran every thing ! And up to modern day! All kids love a parade, Watch and ride a small train and go on an old trolly car ride too! And who doesn't love a good old
What a pleasant surprise, first time at SOB. Great bartender, great beer selection and good local vibe. Tony Graham's music was icing on the cake. Recommended!
Took my son to the Save the Asylum for his 17th birthday. We all had a great time. And we almost escaped we only had 2 clues left. Definitely something we want to do again. Happy Birthday River Balser glad you had a great time.
Definitely a unique and beautiful bridge! Has a beautiful view as you walk across. Itâs not a very busy area so itâs possible to have the hole bridge to yourself. Definitely worth walking over and checking out if your in the area. Plus it right a
A perfect fall evening enjoying some live music along with delicious food and the beautiful fall colors. The view alone is worth it as Trinity offers o great view of the entire Willamette valley. Check their calendar for outdoor events and tastings.
