Motel 6 Rocky Mount, NC - Motel in Rocky Mount - 1370 N Wesleyan Blvd, USA

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was traveling from VA to FL and heard Rocky Mount is a nice, quiet city, so I decided to stay for a day. As a fan of Motel6, I opted for Motel6 Rocky Mount. The staff was fantastic, asking about my travels and genuinely caring about my well-being. The parking is plentiful, and the lobby and reception area are spotless. Normally, Motel6 has coffee from 6-10 AM, but they now offer it 24/7, which was a pleasant surprise. My room was clean and cozy. The staff assured me they prioritize guest safety, and I definitely felt secure. There were kids and other families around, adding to the friendly atmosphere. Overall, my experience was wonderful.

Was here for a quick stay, just a night as I was travelling again the next day. The staff greeted me with a nice smile and laugh, I was a bit shy but they reassured me. The location is perfect as I can just get going right after my stay but also enjoy when I was there. I came in with my dog and the parking really made sure my dog has space to stretch and same in the room. Will stop by again if I am in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay at this motel! The customer service was great! The lobby and food area were very clean & inviting. The rooms were clean & very peaceful while we were here as well. We're looking forward to coming back and staying longer next time. It's definitely an improvement from years ago when I would get a room here.

I recently stayed at a Motel 6, in Chicopee Ma. On the way home I stopped and stayed at a Motel 6 in Rocky Mount NC. A world of difference. The motel in Chicopee appears to have been remodeled and was nicely maintained. The Rocky Mount Motel 6 is in dire need of a paint job and some serious cleaning. They sometimes say it's the small things that matter, well in this motel it didn't appear to matter to management. I was surprised to see they didn't put complimentary shampoos or conditioners in the rooms . They sold it from behind the front desk. The bathroom door only opened about a foot and a half. It also didn't close or lock . Chairs were the most uncomfortable I've ever used . The WIFI wouldn't work, so I asked the front desk, who seemed to be having trouble with it earlier in the day, to check . It came on about an hour later. It kept dropping out all evening. So it wasn't much use. There were obvious burn holes in the comforter on the bed , more than a few. One ice machine worked in the building, It was down the hall from the front desk. If this place wants to succeed, it needs to understand how to generate repeat business. They need to learn, the little things matter. Really, what does a tiny bottle of shampoo cost them ? Don't get me wrong I had some in my bag from other hotels , so I got by just fine. But really, you're that cheap, to skimp on a standard ?

My daughter and I were put in a bind while waiting for repairs to be done on our rental home and we needed a place to stay for what we thought was going to be maybe 2 to 3 days with our 3 pups and this Motel 6 has been more than accommodating! We called in the early morning and asked if they had a double bed room available that allows 3 furbabies and the manager helped us immediately. At 1st we thought we would only have to be at the hotel for a few days but due to some shipping issues it's looking like maybe a week or 2 until our home is ready and the manager and employees have been amazing. They have accommodated us in everyway especially with this being a last minute type of situation. The room is clean and big, the beds are the best beds we've ever had in a hotel they really are comfortable. There is a microwave and nice mini refrigerator with a freezer in the room . The ac is amazing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Just the hospitality alone is well worth it but they do go above and beyond to help everyone have the best stay they possibly can! If anyone had stayed here before and had a bad experience please give them one more try I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

This place is a #1 class dump. I was in town for a funeral and needed a room just for the night. I didn't have a reservation and needed to check in before the regular 3pm time. I warmly accommodated with a big smile for a $95 dollar price. Twenty dollars more than the regular price. I requested a first floor no-smoking room but was given a room on the second floor. As I headed upstairs by elevator, I was weary of the elevator itself. It seemed old and the working condition was suspect. On the second floor the smell of sweat and cigarette smoke hit me in the face due to the heat from no air conditioning. The air in the room was off. There were mashed dead roaches on the walls. I thought they were dirty marks at first until I looked closer. The bed comforter and sheets looked grimy. There was a live roach on its back on the tub and another ran under an opening in the bathroom wall. The tub was rusty looking, or it could have just been filth. I changed into my funeral clothes, took my bags. Later returned after the service was over and checked out. I was not sleeping in that hot, sweaty roached infested dump. I cared less about losing the $95. DONOT STAY HERE. ANY POSTIIVE REVEIWS ARE SUSPECT!

I had to spend several weeks here due to my wife being in the hospital. This hotel was great on location and price. The staff here treated me like family and made sure that I had a nice clean room while I was here. The wi-fi needs to be upgraded but functions, just slowly. I plan on staying here again anytime I am in this area.

On a relocation journey i stayed at this hotel on July 5 2023. The hotel is utterly gross wish i could give less than 1 star. Its old dark and dirty. Room was disgusting, it had stains on the floor the doors. the shower did not even have hot water, if i wasnt so tired and didnt have a pet with me I would have kept travelling. The outside by the doors had a horrible urine smell and dog poop all over the place. I realize this is on the owners but there was no care to this facility. Total horrible hotel and experience
