Motel 6 Rochester, NY - Airport - Motel in Rochester - 1273 Chili Ave, USA

This hotel gave us the biggest disappointment of our lives. We, as a family of four, booked a room with two beds and paid accordingly. When we arrived at the hotel, they told us there were no such rooms left and only a single-bed room was available, yet they charged us the rate for a two-bed room. Since it was 2 AM, we had no choice but to accept it. When we got to the room, the bed had been used, and they claimed it hadn't been used and that only the cover had been removed. The pillows and sheets were terrible and smelled awful. We had to lay our clothes out to sleep. There was a lot of noise coming from the neighboring rooms. The rooms were very dirty, neglected, and smelly. The bathrooms were very dirty and neglected, and the door wouldn't close. Even if you sleep in your car, never choose this hotel. The staff were very rude and indifferent.

Staff was great. Laundry room was clean and new . Hallway always clean. Cats have been calm and happy since we've been here. Rooms are nearly sound proof. Security is quick to act on and disturbances. Maintenance came up to help within minutes of asking for help. Made a bad situation for us seem not so hard. They had everything we need . This is helping us so much more than I can say.

Honestly, a very friendly staff. The best worker was the hotel cat named Midnight! Such a sweet baby! Our room was very clean, and the air conditioning worked. I've been to a few hotels where there was barely any ac. When we come down again we will absolutely be booking here again!

Bathroom door doesn't close; Bathroom light has a short in it, so it doesn't stay on; no trash can; no fridge (nor ice); remote control doesn't work for the TV so you can't change the volume. We didn't plan to shower there so it didn't bother us, but... should be included in this review: the bath towels were dirty. Bed was super hard and woke up with hurt backs. I suppose the only good thing I can say is it's a smoking room so it's convenient.

Horrible place to stay! Do not stay here unless it’s your very last resort. Towels had holes and stains on them. Bathroom wasn’t super clean. The guy on night shift was very rude and unprofessional. The room smelt like w33d and dirt. Door is busted, had trouble getting in and out. Also the room was way overpriced. The microwave was also dirty and no breakfast. Do not come here!!

We took motel 6 as our last option at 10pm. Our first room had blood on the carpet, it was at the first floor with addicts near to it and the lock didn’t work. After talking with the staff they gave us a better room at the second floor, everything was good except for the wifi that didn’t work at all. This hotel is good if you know how to communicate to them what you don’t like about what they first give you. The location is far from everything with drug addicts near to it but they don’t seem to bother anyone + the hotel has security. The wifi doesn’t work. They asked for $50 of deposit which they refund me after one week. In conclusion, decent hotel, good staff, location is okay and some rooms are good if you’re lucky. The price is decent we paid $100 for a night knowing we came at 10pm, they were the only ones with this price in the area.

The room I had was very poorly cleaned , there were blood splatters on one of the beds and ceilings, roaches were dead underneath the ac. The last two days I couldn’t get any sheets for my bedding and the shower head was broken. It’s a nice atmosphere but newer of your rooms when you book.

Close to the airport. Other than that- hard pass. One towel for 3 people and No shampoo/soap. The bed covers were old and worn out. There was a few red dots on them that I assume is blood. There were not any bed bugs. The night guy was great.
