Motel 6 Riverside, CA - UCR East - Motel in Riverside - 1260 University Ave, USA

I stay at a kitchen of different motel 6’s. The young man at the desk was a delight and professional. I was just staying one night. It was so hot out I just wanted to shower and relax. I’m gonna make this simple …. A/c unit was blowing warm and couldn’t get room below 75 Toilet wouldn’t flush. And the BIGGEST cockroach I couldn’t step on because I didn’t want to experience the feeling of crushing such a huge insect. See photo attached. I didn’t even sleep. I was in room maybe 4-5 hours. I asked for some sort of refund to accommodate my shirt unpleasant stay but couldn’t get them to say anything. Plenty of other places. I’m gonna gut up corporate and secret they will do for me.

Best motel 6 in California. Morning supervisor is top notch! Forget her name, stayed there on and off last year for a few months and she made my stay much much better! Clean, little riff raff and in a good location next to a mall. Fridges and microwave in rooms!!!

Bathroom wall switch is so dirty and I took a picture of it. The clerk needs to be properly trained. Though the morning shift clerk was very kind and polite but not the one in the afternoon. The traffic noise prevents me from sleeping and I slept for less than one hour for the whole night.

WORST STAY EVER They make up any reason to keep ur deposit 50$ and room is all broken up and they try to blame you and charge you for it. Dot head/ugly manager looking in everyone’s room windows and their car windows THEY ALSO MAKE UP FAKE REVIEWS TO MAKE IT LOOK GOOD EVERYONE roaches and bed bugs everywhere. I was just walking my dog and dot head/manager was cussing me out and yelling and they always got a attitude at front desk disrespectful and they try to kick you out for no reason bunch of other reviews talking about it to and manager/hidious hippo dot head just tells you u have to check out for no reason at all THEY JUST HARASS YOU ALL DAY FOLLOWING YOU YELLING AT YOU DOT HEAD NEEDS TO GET FIRED PLEASE MOTEL 6 THERE IS A BUNCH OF OTHER BAD REVIEWS ABOUT HER AND THEY GET COMPLAINTS EVERYDAY ABOUT HER AND THEY STILL CHOOSE TO DO NOTHING PICURE OF HER ON REVIEW

There's only a couple of good things I can say about this place. Good location in the center of many shopping centers and restaurants and the rooms are very clean. However the rooms are very small and the main receptionist last is very very very picky (your not allowed any guest to visit, your not allowed to leave your towels on the floor, your not allowed to leave any trash in the room what so ever. Lady didn't give me my deposit back because I accidently spilt some makeup on the floor and apparently it was too much to handle for the maids to clean up. Also the grass area for your pets to go to the bathroom is way way way small, it's like a joke especially if you don't have a small and I mean SMALL dog. And not the motels fault but I also had a problem with a bum trying to break into my truck but luckily I went outside at that moment and caught him.

The place was horrible. The non smoking room smelled like tobacco smoke. Roaches everywhere! I left my bag of dirty clothes on the floor and the cleaning people came into the room when i was gone and took it and threw it away! When i asked about my clothes they said they could do nothing about it and offered nothing in return! Such a horrible experience! Dirty sheets. Horrible pressure shower heads.

Centrally located to Downtown Riverside. The employees are nice BUT their niceness will do little for your nights sleep. The mattress was so uneven that I wondered if it was a World War II relic. The noise/foot traffic outside, in the parking lot, was constant throughout the night. I developed a rash all over my legs and in the middle of the night.

the woman at the front desk was rude and combative. no customer service ability and made me feel like i was unwelcome. Yolanda. Absolutely do not recommend.
