Motel 6 Richfield, OH - Motel in Richfield - 5171 Brecksville Rd, USA

If, like me, all you're looking for is a dog-friendly and bedbug-free place to stay for a night then this place totally fits the bill. It's right off the interstate, next to a reasonably priced gas station, and not too far away from various restaurants. The room was large, the front desk staff were also perfectly polite, the bed was comfortable, and everything was nice and clean. There's also a decent amount of grass around the motel and up around the corner by the gas station next door, which is nice if you're traveling with a dog. Now is this place super luxurious? No of course not, it's a $60 motel. There was some pretty bad water damage to the floor of my room underneath the AC vent (one of the floor panels was coming up so badly I kept tripping over it) and there was what looked like crowbar damage(??) to the front door of my room that didn't exactly inspire confidence. About halfway through the night the power went out and didn't come back on the rest of the time I was staying there, which was a little inconvenient, but I assume was just a fluke. Honestly though the place is fine, I'm sure they've fixed the power by now, and I didn't leave feeling at all disgruntled.

The room looks freshly updated, heat/AC, fridge, microwave and tv all work fine. Bed and pillows are comfortable. The floor was absolutely filthy, walking around barefoot quickly had the bottom of my feet quite black with filth. The toiled seat was loose and so was the toilet to the floor, quite the exciting ride to say the least! The water in the shower never gets hot, it's just barely warm. No matter how long I let the watter run to warm up, it never changed (crank up the heat before you get in, you're gonna be chilly when you get out). I stayed in the summer, winter might be a rough go given all the light that shown through the door seals. Good luck!

Great customer service. The room is very clean and spacious. TV, fridge, microwave, good AC, WiFi and parking are all included. You can pay cash in full up front without worrying about a credit card. The location isn't horrible. There's a gas station/convenience store next door. It's not too far from anything if you have transportation. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap place that still provides a decent experience! Shout-out to Tony at the front desk. He was very quick, efficient and courteous.

You definitely get what you pay for. The customer service was fine...very pleasant employees. We asked for a non-smoking room. The one we got definitely smelled like it used to be a smoking room. There was a big bright pink stain in the bath tub and the bathroom smelled like there was urine lurking around somewhere. I felt like I shouldn't have been walking around on the floor with no shoes. I can handle old and not up to date but cleanliness is a must. If we had stayed longer than 15 hours I definitely would have gone to the Holiday Inn next store.

You definitely get what you pay for, but I haven't been here 24 hours and already I'm very glad I chose this place as a new home for a bit. The location is nice, set back from the main highway and everyone is so friendly. I don't normally have a good vibe right when I get to a place, but I did with this place. You can't go wrong if you don't mind it. So happy to be part of Team6 now!

My fam and I stayed here for the weekly price which is very affordable while living the transient life with pets. Management is good here. The location was tucked away and in a tranquil setting. I liked the spaces of the motel that made it seem more spacious such as the dining nook that was away from the sleeping quarters. The bathroom had ample space to move about. The front desk coffee was good. 👍🏽 😊✅ And .. a huge thank you to Diane. She was kind. Do support this business.💯 We love our My6 #Team6

This place is very affordable 👌 rooms are nice and the staff is amazing, very quiet. I booked here 3 times already, and the last time I stayed, the rooms were recently renovated

Overall the rooms are pretty nice and the location is good,but on the Motel 6 website it says check in is at 2pm. So I walk over from the truck stop at 2:25pm and the front office guy says he can’t check me in until 35 more minutes cuz check in is at 3pm. I show him on my reservation and on the Motel 6 website it clearly says 2pm is check in. They need to contact Motel 6 corporate and make them change it to where it says 3pm.
