My family and I stayed here and loved it. The reason why I give it 3 stars is because they don't serve breakfast and they charge to much for the food and drinks they have in the front lobby but the staff are very friendly and they are pet friendly also. And there TV did work the greatest but either but that's okay I guess. And we also enjoyed our stay and the rooms are very clean also
My wife and I were moving to the area but our apartment wasn't ready yet. I called on the phone to reserve the unit and showed up (around) 2:30am. Payed, signed something, and got the keys. Got to put room and it looked okay. This isn't a luxury hotel by any reach. The bed seemed clean, but the sheets had some stains. The top sheet also had some stains. The shower curtain wasn't the best. Didn't do a great job of keeping water in the tub. There shower head seemed to have enough pressure to cut through metal, I don't think an ounce of dead skin was left on my body. Felt kind of good honestly. It was a quiet and physically safe place to crash for the night.
Our family is among those who were very satisfied with this motel 6. We stayed two days there. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The towels were clean and there were a plenty of them. The microwave, fridge and hairdryer worked well, as well as a tv. The freeway didn’t bother us. Maybe, because we came from a very loud city where we sleep listening cops on cars and helicopters chasing criminals on a nonstop basis. So, we slept two nights at this motel with open windows and traffic wasn’t annoying at all. No loud neighbors were on those days. For us, personally, there was nothing wrong to take away any star from my review. And myself, I divide places to those I will come back or I will not come back. I would definitely come back to this motel if I need to stay anywhere on my way to Yellowstone National Park.
It looks like this place used to be better at providing basic service. All the ratings of 3 or above seen to be from 6 yrs ago. Be prepared for most things to be missing some of which you can ask for (shampoo, toilet paper, clean towels, garbage bags replacements) other things you'll have to get on your own (hot chocolate, dog poop bags, ice. Come on, really you can't even have those). Maybe the dirt in the hallway could get vacuumed up after 4 days? Maybe my room could be clean. Some of the front desk staff were very helpful. I would give them 4 stars. However, housekeeping gets zero stars. Maybe there are not enough staff or maybe managers are not present? Whatever the reason things don't seem to be getting done as they should be.
The good:
- EXTREMELY friendly service
-Cheap.
- Has what's needed for a night's stay on the road, including a washer and dryer with soap available for purchase at the front desk.
- Right off the highway, but surprisingly, it's not too noisy.
- Close to gas and 10 minutes away from a walmart for travel essentials.
- The room was clean enough, it's not a 5-star stay where everything is scrubbed spotless. The linens, floor, toilet are clean.
The con:
Metal bedframes have sharp corners, you really need to watch as you step around them. (Hello bruised shins!) Would love to see them changed to something safer, especially if someone travels with kids or pets.
- People slammed doors and it's very audible, could use the thingies that stop that from happening I suppose.
It's located on a highway so very good for a stop over. Looks like whole motel was renovated. It was cheap too. There is all I have to say on the good side.
Now the cons:
- bed was very dirty, the cover was never washed. The sheets had yellow stains and black hair under and over the sheet. Same goes for pillows, so we ended up sleeping all dressed and on top of it in our sleeping bags like we did in forest.
- very thin walls and windows, we could hear all night people walking, talking, slamming doors and listening to music both inside and outside at the parking lot.
- room appeared to be clean overall, but we had some random bugs on the floor.
- towels were dirty in stains
- no shower gel or shampoo
- toilet seat was broken and sliding under your butt 😀
- not enough towels, only one set provided.
This experience has set us back as we couldn't fully recharge for long drive.
The room was dirty, not sure how they have all these positive reviews for cleanliness. Our bathroom was not clean, the shower was beyond filthy. Two of the towels were clearly not washed one with body hair in it. The hallway smelled of mold, dogs barked all night, and the locals were speeding and stunting on the road right beside the hotel.
Great price for what I needed, a quick one night stay. Rooms remind me of basic training or student dorms. Very basic, but clean. Bed was decent. No breakfast, but the next hotel with a breakfast is $25 more a night so depending on how many people you have would determine if that mattered or not.
This was by far THE BEST BBQ I've had in Idaho! Thick cut brisket mixed with delicious homemade sauces! Flavor was perfection. The owner Aaron takes pride in his work and it shows in the product!! Definitely became my favorite after one bite!
We had the BEST time as a family driving through the reserve. Itâs conveniently located, easy to find and access. The variety of foxes was astounding, some being the last of their kind globally. The wolves and bears were so close to our car but wer
It was super fun. The staff was super nice especially Riley and Hayden. (I hope thatâs their names). They gave us special tips on how to throw and gave us special weapons to throw. 10/10 experience would totally recommend to anyone thatâs wants a
The Emfield family is the best family to learn Jiu-jitsu from! They are kind and know what they are doing. If you are a beginner, you could not ask for a better team to teach you.
Unexpected surprise air museum in Rexburg, many flight worthy aircraft and an amazing collection of historic military items. Saturdays only when we were there
The place is the real deal and is our go-to spot when we're passing through the area. Prices are great. Toppings are top notch. Crust is AMAZING. Everything is made to order in their wood burning oven. the dessert pizzas are unreal... Also, as if the
Very beautiful, peaceful garden. We loved it
It's such a nice campus, too. It has lots of seating areas all around the garden for the students, that's awesome ðð
A fun Island-themed drink+desert shop. It's assorted soda, Italian ice, and custard. Cookies and cream custard is good stuff! Service was fast, and the indoor lawn chairs make a great spot to sit and talk with friends.
