Motel 6 Redmond, OR - Motel in Redmond - 2247 S Hwy 97, USA

I stayed here because of convenience and they allow big dogs for no extra fee. The rooms were clean. I especially like the wood floors. The grounds around the hotel could use some improvements. Staff was friendly and allowed me to check in early. I was coming through with a U-Haul trailer and they had a big lot for me to park easily in. I would stay here again.

Don't stay here!!! Service is TERRIBLE. Only 2 front desk staff seem to work at the motel. One of them (Kim) is very nice. The other one (Yvonne, I think) is TERRIBLE!! No smile and she does you a favor by checking you in. When you ask for shampoo or conditioner she harshly responds "We don't supply shampoo or conditioner" (like I should know better that Motel 6 doesn't provide!). But this is the least of it. My reservation was for 5 nights for a total of $551.88. The form she wanted me to sign at check-in was for $1,009.36! When I asked to speak to the Manager, I was told that there was nobody to speak to because the Manager was overseas somewhere! Had no choice but to stay there because a big event in town had all of the other motels in the area fully booked. Not sure if it is Motel 6 (Corporate) or the Franchisee that is perpetrating this scam but either way it's not a good look for Motel 6. They might say they "leave the light on for you" but nobody's home! There are way better places to stay at! Do yourself a favor, don't stay here!!!! Please do not respond with "Thank you for providing feedback. Your experience is important to us, and we hope for the opportunity to improve your experience with us. Please visit again." These are meaningless words when there is no action taken.

We arrived to the Hotel in the front desk, staff made us aware that the hot water heater was broken, at this point all the other hotels in town were sold out so we had no other option to stay at the hotel. We paid over $300 to stay at a motel six with no hot water, we talked with the hotel staff, and they made us aware that they couldn’t put any discounts on the bill. When I booked the hotel, There was an agreement on services for cash, they did not hold up their end of the bargain on the services so to make things right they should have put a discount on the end bill which they did not.

The other reason I’m giving two stars is there is one staff that was very helpful and transparent with the accommodations. When checking in they did not tell us that the hotel did not have hot water and allowed many individuals to check in and there was a staff member that laughed it off and said it’s summertime that we should be OK with cold shower. I do not recommend.

At check in I was informed no hot water was available, and no resolution was expected before Monday. 1) if you are a honest business, you inform people when they book, since the issue was know since the afternoon; 2) if you are a decent business, you offer a discount - but I was told “that has not been approved yet; 3) if you are not a dumb business owner, you sign an on-call agreement with some plumbing contractor to fix sudden issues like this one. All the answers were NO, NO, NO. I usually steer clear from motel 6 for a reason, going forward I won’t even consider it as an emergency solution (as it was for tonight).

Room cost too much for what you get. There was no hot water, room was not carpeted, the only chair was cheap and uncomfortable, no room coffee maker, and the air conditioner was noisy. But the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff was friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and quality of this hotel. Motel 6 where I’m from doesn’t have a very good reputation so I was skeptical when I read the reviews, but I needed a hotel close to the airport for early morning departures. I was satisfied with my stay here.

No Hot Water! No pens. No maid door thing. U have to ask. Cheapest ever. Rooms nice but skimpy lights flicker. With no Hot Water I want partial refund. Ridiculous
