Motel 6 Philadelphia, PA - Northeast - Featured Reviews (989)
My room was so so except for the dog I kept hearing scratching at my wall. Also the ATM/vending machine scam is getting old. And maybe they should hire some better front desk people who can communicate better and stay awake. I had to walk or door dash all meals. It definitely wasn't worth the $250 I paid. Did I mention the drug deal and the urine smell.
DO NOT GO!!!!!!!! My fiancé and I were going to give benefit of doubt and we went early to see if we could check in the lady at the front desk said no but I’ll check and then told us no which isn’t a biggie because whatever. But I did ask if it was possible that I used the restroom because we drove all morning and she said no they’ve been locked since 2020 it’s 2024 (why hasn’t that been resolved?) but I was like oh okay? But the guy working the desk with her said it’s okay I’ll unlock it for you so me and my fiancé walked with him to it and when he opened the door he said it might be a little dirty but it’ll be okay I was baffled at what I saw the ceiling was on the floor toilets were disgusting sinks and walls were disgusting and I heard scurrying and when I opened the stall doors roaches that were huge were running around I turned around left and told my fiancé to cancel the booking because if just the restroom in the “lobby” is that disgusting I don’t want to know what the rooms are like
It needs to be remodeled. If it was up to me I would say burn it down and start all over again. They get away with being completely nasty because it's really the only hotel in the area. That was the worst night of my life. They allow people to hang around outside all night long. No type of security. Let's not about the out dated furniture throughout the hotel. I put my own sheets on the bed and brought my own wash clothes and towels. They are too over priced for the quality of service. Nasty room, shower falling down, scared to sit on the toilet, and scared someone could walk right in the room. I could on and on but you the picture.
I loved this place for a few reasons. It was very clean and everything looked new. Checking in on Friday was smooth considering it was busy. Room was very nice. The people staying there that weekend were really friendly. The staff was helpful and gave a great recommendation for food.
Cleaning lady begged for tips was told no begged for them again acted like it was her hotel had a whole half hr left was going to take my belongings out one by one because I had a spinal laminectomy however couldn't because cleaning lady forced me to put my key card on table and basically forced me out of room after saying no to tip ended up leaving my speaker and item my husband uses for work in room. They act like they can't do nothing about it corporate wise as this hotel won't call back per compliant five to seven days policy . Still have not heard back from complaints dpt. Hotel doesn't wanna compensate nor I feel correct this behavior as I heard from when I called they already spoke to their workers about this. Worst experience ever and they dont want to correct their behavior .
The room was filthy. The shower curtain rod was hanging off the wall. The toilet ran and leaked at the bottom. The inside of the bathroom door was torn up obviously from a dog being left in there scratching at it. When the sun goes down, things outside only got louder. The location was somewhat convenient for our stay.
Dirty, smells horrible! Took one look at the holes in the bedding and demanded a refund and left fast as possible before I contracted a I'llness from all the dirt!
The hotel and stay itself was actually pleasant. What turned me off was the housekeeper who came to both rooms I had booked, asking for tips. She was given a $5 from my dad, right after check in, then proceeded to ask for more money. She did the same thing in my room, and when I thanked her, she stood there with her hand out waiting for a tip.

Coffee here was amazing! The iced latte was great! The black coffee was something else! So fruity and aromatic - truly a great experience! Very much recommended getting their beans too!

Joined on a student membership for the summer and really enjoyed my experience. All the trainers were highly knowledgeable (and incredibly athletic) and made sure everyone felt welcome in the gym. When I was dealing with a shoulder injury, they were
