“I had a great experience staying at Motel 6 in East Palm Canyon, and a big part of that was thanks to Edgar at the front desk. From the get-go, he was super friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s not often you come across someone who really cares about making guests feel welcome, but Edgar nailed it. He even gave me some great recommendations for places to check out in the area. If you’re looking for a place to stay with awesome service, definitely ask for Edgar—he’s the best!”

I’ve stayed here before, but this place has changed a lot. 1st if all the front desk did a good job in getting me checked in and a good room location. The prob was they said we needed specific towels for the pool, they had none whats so ever all day long. We had to use the towels from the room, they said come back in 30 min, we kept coming back. They had no pool towels and because we used the regular towels for the pool we needed some regular towels to take a shower but they didn’t have any of those all day either. We finally asked around 9:00 P.M. for clean towels, they apparently had just come out and were still in the bin so the front desk just handed me a pile of towels and said here you go; they were not folded just a bike pile of towels. Also none of the rooms have irons, ironing boards and hair dryers, you have to ask the front desk for those things and cross your fingers to see if they have one avail. Also, the rooms do not have Shampoo and conditioner, they’ll send you to the vending machine for that. Lastly, it’s Palm Springs and 125 degrees, both ice makers were not working properly. The pool area is nice, but there is a lady that apparently stays there long term and although she is extremely friendly (little creepy) she is offering everyone a shot of hard liquor. Unfortunately there are unsavory people there that just seem to stare, not the motels fault but never the less not a good thing. All I can say is “never again”, pay the extra $50 to stay a nice hotel this one is not worth the hassle.

Location was great and for a last minute overnight stay, it's acceptable. You definitely get what you paid for, but I've stayed in way better Motel 6 locations than this one for the same price... Some of the issues we had were: - Door didn't seem to fully close (was only closed with the lock - a new door would be great). We pushed it all the way in with a chair overnight. - There were multiple hairs on our bed when we got there. - Beds were also very uncomfortable - felt like springs were about to pop out. - Cigarette butts were everywhere along with a few pieces of trash all around. - It definitely is not a smoking free location - don't advertise it as such. - At night, people were LOUD and slammed doors so many times. It kept waking us and our dog up. - If you have a dog (which we did), be careful where they walk due to garbage on the floor. - When taking a shower, prepare for the shower curtain to stick to you.

Not safe - Extremely Disappointing Experience - Stay Away! I recently stayed at the Motel 6 in Palm Springs for two nights, and both nights were absolutely dramatic. The room was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom was downright disgusting. My friend and I, both grown men, did not feel safe at all during our stay. Throughout both nights, we heard people screaming and fighting. It was clear that some of the guests were not there for a short stay; it appeared that people were living at the motel, engaging in suspicious activities at all hours. The presence of itinerant individuals around the property only added to the sense of unease. I’ve stayed at other Motel 6 locations in California, and none have been as bad as this one. This place is not just below standard—it’s a safety hazard. I strongly recommend finding another place to stay.

Amber C was wonderfully competent and professional. The young gentleman with the short blonde hair was lovely. Both managers were great. Accommodating and on top of everything! Grateful.

Good afternoon, very good service at the Motel 6 Palm Springs, CA where I was treated by the very kind young Stiven Sánchez. The room was impeccable; very welcoming and thank the motel and the employee for their attention to me.

I’m not naive. I know that some Motel 6’s are better than others, and that if I wanted a guaranteed great stay in Palm Springs there are no shortage of options. However, I was in town for just two nights and decided to give it a try anyway. The staff was friendly, but just a little clueless. The room was dirty with bugs and foreign hairs everywhere. I had to ask multiple times for simple things like bedding without cigarette burn holes. The walls are paper thin - so I got to know my neighbors intimately to say the least. Perhaps worst of all, there were people tweaking out on drugs walking all over the grounds and motel hallways. Anyway, I appreciate the try, but in good concious I couldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Oh, I guess the pool was alright.

Good service, the room was clean and very well organized. Stiven Sánchez's attention was very good. He is a very kind person who helps address all needs. We will return soon
