Front desk staff was cordial and helpful when asking for assistance. The housekeeping staff are definitely the hardest working team there and they do a great job. Only real improvement I would say is extending the pool hours till at least midnight. Especially during the hot summer nights.

Very affordable, convenient location with downtown restaurants all within a few minutes walking distance. Room, pool were clean, whirlpool was either not working or just not cleaned. The main issue with this property is safety and security since at night there are quite a few unhinged homeless people walking around the grounds which is adjacent to a gas station. The day I left I had an early flight out and was in front of the hotel waiting for a taxi at around 4:30 A.M. While I was waiting there was a homeless guy who was trying to break into the room with the vending machines. Yes, Palm Springs has a homeless problem, but I don't want them outside my hotel room door. You get what you pay for.

I'm thinking somebody forgot to mop the floors in room 141, I wouldn't suggest walking around barefoot in the room.Because I think all they do is vacuum, no mopping. Other than that, the place was very clean. I thought my husband spilled something on the floor so I got a washcloth and wiped it up and the washcloth was black.

Here is what happened: I arrived last Thursday and checked in. A girl with long dark hair checked me in. She was very rude, she did not smile or say please and thank you even though I smiled and said please and thank you to her.||||I got to the room and it was okay, although a little dirty. The air conditioning worked, the bed was comfortable, and the internet was fine. There was no shampoo, so I asked for some at the front desk and the same rude girl lied and told me they didn't have any. I saw a maid with a cart on the way back to the room and she gave me a few shampoos from the large supply that she had.||||The real trouble started the next day. I tried to get ice and the ice machine was broken. I tried to do laundry and the laundry machine was broken. I asked the front desk when these things would be repaired and they could not tell me. I did get a free tiny cup of coffee the motel provides.||The next morning I stepped out of my room to find a pit bull running towards me. It belonged to the homeless family that was camped outside my door. They were out there all day because there is no security at the hotel. You might not be able to get ice or snacks at this motel. However, you will be able to get drugs are a hooker if you want them. They are offered right in the parking lot.||I went to get coffee, but there was none. I was told they were out of cups. The next morning I brought my own cup and I was told they were out of coffee.||I filed a complaint with Motel 6 and the manager came to my door that evening. In spite of the fact that the motel advertises an ice machine, laundry, and vending machines, she told me that these things were broken and that she did not know when they would be fixed. She said it was not her responsibility as Motel 6 used a contractor for these things.||This is not true. It is Motel 6's responsibility to provide everything that they advertise to their customers. They advertised an ice machine, a laundry machine, and a communal microwave. None of those things were provided. They have a contract with their vendor. It is the vendor's responsibility to provide those things to Motel 6. Hence, the contractor should give Motel 6 a discount for not providing those services and Motel 6 should discount their guests. If the contractor does not refund Motel 6's money, Motel 6 should sue them. If I had to venture a guess, I would guess that Motel 6 did not pay its bill to the contractor.||When I told the manager about the coffee, she said they absolutely did have coffee and cups, which means that the girl at the front desk lied to me. She offered me a $20 discount. She said to call Booking.com and they would call the front desk for confirmation. I called them, they called the front desk and the manager confirmed the discount verbally. I waited a week but did not get my money back.||I called Booking.com again and I was told that the manager was supposed to take one last step and confirm the refund via email. She never did this. I tried talking to the manager before I left but she was not there.||They had coffee for the next two days after I complained. They lied and said that they did not have any cups on my last day. (The maid had a cart full of cups.) I was there for 8 days and my room was never cleaned. Fortunately, I had two beds so I just switched mid-stay.||That is what happened. If I do not get the money she promised me by Monday, I will contact Julie Arrowsmith who is the CEO of Motel 6. I will also contact Glenn Fogel the CEO of Booking.com

Not Good. The air conditioning wasn't working so the room was humid and hot. there was also a black widow spider and egg sack in the corner behind the door. I notified staff and nothing was done. by far one of the worst stays at this hotel.

So, pretty average for a Motel 6, but the one star is for the absurd, money-grab, $5 parking fee in a part of town that DOES NOT have a parking problem. They have a HUGE parking lot that was only a third full at 1am. My advice: go to the “East Canyon” location instead. It’s cleaner, they have a pretty decent pool, and as I recall, they don’t charge anything for parking.

So they allowed me to check in at Noon by writing a review sight unseen or pay $25 for early check in. I was going to ask if I could just leave my bag but the young lady at the front desk was super rude so it wasn’t worth it. Here is an updated review of my experience 5 min into the property. Young lady B at the front desk super rude, zero customer service no how. Room is clean but has a funky smell. Pool gross. I wanted something cheap bc I am just going to sleep before my flight. I had low expectations and they certainly dug lower than I expected.
