I was attending a wedding in Opelousas and a friend recommended Motel 6. She told me nothing but great things about the property so I took her advice and booked my stay . Upon arrival the General Manager Ms.Lisa was very welcoming and gave me top tier customer service. I love having extra towels and her staff made sure of that with no problem. I would say my friend did a good job by recommending this motel for my stay it was amazing. Anytime I’m in the area I will most definitely be returning back here .
No towels or tissue paper in the room. Went to ask for towels and paper. Front desk informed me he didn't have any extra. That they had been running out. He came back with utility towels (stained up...not to be used in room) and cocktails napkins. The room was clean & no complaints other than listed.

Whoever posting the other reviews gotta be on something bec that place was booty cheeks. I walked in the bathroom a bug greated me at the door. Bathroom doorknob was falling off, paint was chipped all over. The towels had stains. We were in and outta that place so fast. Save your money go somewhere else.
I really enjoyed my stay the pool was nice and clean the employees was also nice I will be back the room was nice and cold pet friendly they helped me find places to eat well kept place I will be back …..
My second visit to Motel 6 Opelousas was just as great as the first. I was visiting friends again last weekend and since Lisa made such an impression and the rooms were kept so clean, I came back. My experience was just the same. I'll be back again!
Everything is always clean and the staff is absolutely wonderful. They have a beautiful pool that is always clean and maintained. Lisa; the General Manager, goes out of her way to ensure that we have a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and it will always be our go to when we are in the Opelousas area.
Positive: The location is great. Front counter staff was friendly. Negative: The room smelled so strong of cleaner as if trying to hide something. The water coming out of the tub looked like milk. Shower curtain rod was hanging off the wall. Toilet looked dirty and stained. A/C didnt work well. Pillows and bed were horrible. Negative: ""

I've never seen a restaurant with a better bathroom. It's all decked out with a real changing table including diapers and wipes. Very impressive ððð
I haven't had so much fun in years. Very friendly place. The staff and owners are so wonderful to be around. Love the bands on Friday and Saturday nights!!
