We were relieved to find a great room at a price even I could afford, at this splendid Motel 6! Everything was great, & very nice, right on the waterside at the marina. I had been long overdue to soak in an extended hot bathtub, so much so, that I stayed an extra day, kitty cats are welcome too! I've been to many Motel 6's across the U.S.A. in my time, but I'd say this is my # 1! ⛵ 😺

I recently stayed here and it’s in an okay area with plenty of nearby activities, making it easy to relax. The price was fair, and I felt I got my money's worth. A nice bonus was the trail behind the motel that runs along the bay—perfect for a peaceful walk or for exercising your pet. Overall, it was a pleasant and convenient stay.

I was nervous about staying at this location as I've read that the parking lot may be packed and there are some people loitering as well. But on my weekend in early August 2024, it was honestly not bad at all. The room was slightly better than the average Motel6. Clean and everything seems to be working. Parking lot was lit and they required everyone to have their supplied permit taped to the windshield. There was also a police presence at night. There was some loitering, but not much and the lot was not full. I still made sure to have NOTHING in my car, and seats pulled down so you can see an empty trunk as well. Location is great. It's right along the marina, and right off the freeway, and a close drive to the nearest bart station. I've been to my fair share of hotels, and many times in Motel6's because I often travel with a dog. As long as you are aware you are staying at a Motel6, this one should be a good choice. I would definitely book again for the next time I drive up to oakland/SF.

The room was decent for the motel. The floors need to be redone but the beds and pillows were comfortable. Great location with walking path by the marina.

I was very apprehensive about having to stay in Oakland for work, but this Motel 6 is very nice. It's right on a marina, the staff are super helpful and responsive, and there is a regular police presence so feels pretty safe. Hardly any traffic and there's a Starbucks right nearby which also has a super friendly staff.

This place is really nice, affordable, safe, and in a very pleasant location - right next to the marina. There are rooms with views in the back. Stefanie at the front desk was very helpful. Made our weekend possible!

Déçue. Les photos ne sont pas le reflet de la réalité. Les chambres standard donnent sur un parking pourri. L'autoroute et la voie de chemin de fer en fond. Très bruyant. La chambre était propre mais vieillotte. Sentait le renfermé. Un café à l'accueil de 8h à 10h, office fermé, il faut demander l'ouverture de la porte à l'hygiaphone. L'autre côté de l'hôtel donne sur un cours d'eau, pas entretenu. Bref quartier gloque, beaucoup de sdf. A éviter!
