Motel 6 North Platte, NE - East - Motel in North Platte - 2701 Halligan Dr, USA

We were pulling off the road after a long day driving. Elex was the first friendly face we encountered. He made check-in very quick and made a long day have a good ending. The next morning, the front desk gals were incredibly kind as we were packing up to leave. My dad is a senior with disability and it helps to have good people with friendly faces.

My stay was overnight. I do this a few times a month due to visits at the hospital. I will return to Motel 6 from now on. I was very impressed. Yes, it didn't have a small fridge. You may need to bring your own shower bag. But it is modern, freshly painted, and clean. The elevator made easy access to all floors, and the staff was kind and friendly.

Good deal! Awesome overnight staff, no pet fee - they welcome animals! The staff even gave my dog a biscuit! Hotel is brand new practically! They gave us complimentary late checkout as well - since we got in a little later than expected. Clean rooms, good location, 5 star service! Not your typical Motel 6 experience - I was blown away!

This is one of Motel 6’s newer upgraded properties, located on the north side of I-80 at the east end of North Platte, Nebraska . We have stayed there twice and enjoyed it. The room was spacious and very nicely appointed. They provide rolling racks to get your luggage to your room.

So much better than any other Motel 6 I've stayed at. Dogs are free at Motel 6 and I'm tired of paying $25 at other motels so my dog can sleep on the floor beside the bed. New, very clean, showers not tubs. There is a refrigerated vending machine with simple microwave meals, good since there are no stores close by. The nearby diner is open 24 hours.

The room was new, clean, and comfortable. however, we had 2 double beds with 3 guests, there was 1 towel and 0 washcloths, no hand soap, and no Kleenex. We only needed the room to sleep and get freshened up to continue our journey....kind of hard to freshen up with no towels.

Great little motel. They have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the morning. Plenty of vending machines if you're out of food. Service was very nice, especially since they have 24 hour front desk staff. The rooms were cozy, but functional. Our room didn't have a closet, just a shelf mounted to the wall. Plenty of parking. Up to 2 pets allowed - no charge, they just need to know for when they clean the room. We had a room in the back of the motel, so we had a view of the river instead of the freeway.

I was greeted in a friendly manner on check-in, rate was good. I liked that the room had a hard surface floor rather than carpet but the floor didn't look like it had been well-swept. Bathroom was clean and I liked the modern decor and feel of the place. Fire alarms set off during the night and guests had to evacuate. Staff was non-communicative and didn't seem to know what to do. Once fire department arrived, which took awhile but probably wasn't the motel's fault, the staff didn't seem to know how to access the panel to turn off alarms or maybe couldn't locate the key right away. It's a pet-friendly motel so I kind of questioned the wisdom of white bedding, but no problems with my dog. There was a pet area with waste bags and a waste can but the can was overflowing. I reported it to the front desk but it was still full by morning. Trash can outside front entrance hadn't been emptied before check-out and was overflowing by 9 am. I would stay there again and hope the fire alarm was a fluke.
