Motel 6 North Platte, NE - Motel in North Platte - 2619 Halligan Dr, USA

Asked for a quiet room. Got one next to the ice machine and across the hall from a dog. Was told they would "remind the dog owners that the dog needed to be with them at all times and be quiet." Tell that to a dog in the middle of the night. Parking lot mostly empty but told the only other available room was with 1 bed. What a joke.

Wow. Just wow. Pulling into the parking lot I had no idea how this place would do on my scale, especially with the mixed reviews. But it was amazing. The front desk employees were on it and accommodated all of our requests. We stayed on the third floor. Although the room was rather cramped and had no amenities, it is to be expected for a budget hotel. I was shocked by the cleanliness of the room. The hardwood floor was a positive since they are typically cleaner than carpet. I recommend this hotel to anyone passing through North Platte. Just expect less amenities than your typical hotel. I will definitely be back if I ever pass through here again.

I am very skeptical of Motel 6's however this one is brand new, very clean and great! I will stay here again if given the chance. Hope this place stays as nice as when my friend and I stayed her. So many are run down. I will be back!

Ok place. Small rooms. No breakfast. They shouldn’t allow people with animals to be on the upper floors. Didn’t get any sleep having to listen to someone’s dog running around above us. Had to ask for extra towels and waited 10 minutes because the girl working the counter was too busy on her phone outside to bother waiting on customers.

Our stay here was inexpensive and we got what we paid. We booked a non smoking room and received a smoking room. "Only one left tonight!" They did offer us a bottle of air freshener! Our room was dark but it did have several lights. It wasn't the lights fault! It is hard for a light to illuminate when a couple of the lights didn't have bulbs. There is a reason for its low rating and inexpensive price. I have received a response from the Motel 6 staff thanking me for my review. Their response was friendly and professionally written. They wrote they would look to make improvements

Not terribly expansive but for the nearly $70 after taxes price, I did expect a little more. I've stayed at Motel 6's before and it's always been pleasant. This time not so much. The inside walkways were in need of repair. The room was in better condition. It had a nice look on first inspection. On second, it was very minimalistic. No amenities. The booking app stated that there was a "kitchen". I didn't need a kitchen, but a simple coffee pot would have been nice to heat up water for an oatmeal in the morning. (They did state that there would be coffee available on the little table by the checkout in the morning.) No microwave or fridge. The bed was harder than I like, but that was just my preference. However, they it had the plastic on it to protect from spills. So not very comfy to sleep on. On to the bathroom. Dirty. The previous stay must have been a guy. Some beard hair in sink and pee on the toilet bowl rim. The shower appeared clean and they had a very unique design. The shower head plumbing was mounted on the ceiling of the shower. So it rained down. As I have long hair, it was impossible to shower without getting it wet, something that with below freezing weather outside, I had not wish to do. Even if I did with it to get wet, there was not shampoo or conditioning to wash it with. So, it did it's job to get me out of the snow storm, but I won't stay there again. And honestly, I probably would not have had even taken the time to write a review if there had even been a way to cook up a nice cup of something hot while there.

My wife and I with our two dogs were traveling through Ne. We have stayed in North Platte several times. When we arrived , it appeared that a lot of the motels were full.. I stopped at the Comfort Inn and when I discovered their high pet fee, I left. I noticed a new three story motel next door and discovered at was a Motel 6. I had not stayed at a Motel 6 in years because of a bad experience. I went in the Motel 6 and was surprised how clean the lobby was. The young lady at the desk, Ravan was very friendly and went out of her way to help us .The room rate was very reasonable and no pet fee. The room was a basic room and small. However, the decor was nice and the room was clean. Very quiet room. At the present time is a nice place to stay over night.

we have not stayed in a motel 6 in decades. but now that we have a dog, we have been looking for motels without pet fees for our road trips. this property is great. while the rooms are somewhat small, they are well designed. there is a luggage holder which has a space under the platform for additional storage. the desk has several cubbyholes for storage of smaller items. the bed was very comfortable. i have read complaints that the mattress slides on the platform. if you sit straight down and do not slide into it, the mattress stays put. the room was clean with shiny flooring. --i prefer hard floors to carpets (which can hide a lot of disgusting spills). i walked across the room after showering and the bottoms of my feet stayed clean. the air conditioning worked perfectly. we used the microwave in the lobby to reheat our leftovers. i had a small package that needed to stay frozen. the clerks at the front desk were kind and allowed me to store it in their freezer. the only thing that i would change is to have the shades go from the bottom up instead of the conventional way (top down). this would result in privacy while still allowing for outside light in the room. we liked the facility well enough to stay here on our return drive home. it may seem odd to rate a budget motel as a 5, but i am rating it within its grouping. one would hardly expect the same level of quality compared to a hotel charging twice the price,
