I booked this room the day before I needed it. It is a one night stay for business. The front desk was very courteous and helpful. The room remodel is a great idea. Replaced those nasty carpets with hardwood flooring. The room is clean and no complaints. The only issues I have are the telephone does not work and the remote for the TV didn't work and missing one battery. The bathroom is clean with towels and supplies available. The AC is working great and froze myself. I do recommend this place for others and myself. My fur babies were welcomed and no complaints. The bed is comfortable to have a good night's rest.
DO NOT STAY HERE. Spend some extra cash and get a better room. They tried scamming me with 1200 dollars. Charged my card 3 times with out any notice or me being present. I called and ask for a manager and they say they dont have one and cant help with why i was charged so much. Restrooms have mold, there is little bugs on the beds and restrooms bearlt flush. I
A disgusting motel. Very run down, however, the staff was nice. Many dead flies in the room, cracked shower area, lights above sink don't work, TV didn't turn on. Couldn't access WIFI despite having the code. Huge potholes, unmowed grass by door with trash. I checked out immediately and went elsewhere.
My husband and I stay here frequently. In the past the hotel had a very bad reputation not because of anything on the hotel but from the clientele that stayed there and few of the employees. However, it's under new ownership and the remodeling and restructuring they are doing to the hotel is absolutely amazing. The owners are truly superb people that make you feel welcome and very comfortable. The management and staff are friendly and go out of their way to see to customers needs and satisfaction. The remodeling of the rooms is truly great. They have to pool back. They are a pet friendly hotel and don't charge an extra fee for your fur babies. They offer free Wifi, satellite TV in a spacious room (king size bed). You have a table to sit and enjoy a meal or do business on. The room comes with a microwave and mini fridge. Plus, they are trying to bring back the restaurant of old. So if you're ever in Natchitoches for business or pleasure. Stay at the Motel 6. A wonderful place to stay with really reasonable rates and discounts for people who have AARP. I truly can't say enough about Motel 6 in Natchitoches so just come by and see for yourself.
I absolutely hate having to edit my review. I truly truly wish Mr. Kenny the owner would come pay a visit. Unfortunately, My husband and I have been having to stay at the hotel more than normal due to some unfortunate circumstances and now there's a new guy working here that thinks he owns the place Ken and he tries to run peoples credit/debit cards before payment is even due. He double charges because he has absolutely no idea what he is doing as far as taking payments and booking rooms. He comes trying to get in your room without knocking or anything at 7 in the morning demanding to know if you're checking out even when you are paid up. He refuses to give people refunds. He is letting people who are banned from the premises come back and rent rooms. He has an ex employee that was fired working that has a criminal passed the drug dealing is happening right in the very front of the hotel again. My husband picked up a used needle out of the parking lot to prevent a child from possibly getting a hold of it. Ken just doesn't care. They're charging people $3.75 a load to be able to do their laundry. Plus, he or someone in the office is opening people's personal private packages that are delivered by FedEx, UPS or the mail lady in the mail at the office. I hate to tell him but that is a federal offense to open someone else's mail. I love staying here and have made a few friends here. I'm the type who helps anyone no questions asked but to be treated with the blatant disrespect the way Ken does is just absolutely not right or acceptable. I hope Mr. Kenny sees this and fixes this issue soon.
Also, I want to say that our thoughts and prayers are with Sam that was the manager as he goes through the recovery from his car accident. We love and miss Sam . God be with you.
This motel has gotten so much worse since they got new management. When I stayed there before, it was run down, but everything worked and it felt safer. Now, it's dark all around and it's falling apart even though they say they are renovating. My first room smelled like it had not been cleaned in a month, the lights didn't work properly, the floors were sticky, and the handle to the faucet was next to the sink. Due to not having a working sink, I was moved to another room a few doors down. That one smelled better but when I went to settle in for the night, we realized the toilet was clogged up. There was no one at the front desk so we had to look around for someone to help just so we could use the restroom. The floors were not clean at all. I spilled some water and when I wiped it up, the towel was completely black from the filth. It is clear that maintenance and housekeeping are not doing their jobs correctly. The only good things are that I did not find any bugs and the front desk people were kind. I have emailed about this issue and no one has responded with any type of resolution. The reviews saying this is an amazing place to stay are obviously fake because this is the worst motel that I have ever stayed at. Just spend the extra money on a hotel near the interstate for a decent and safe place to sleep.
The customer service was great, Laurie was super cool, she deserves a raise for having to deal with this place. But the room doesn't have a remote control or any type of cable TV. The water came out brown at first. And the scary thing was the screw sticking straight out of the wall beside the entrance to the bathroom. It's at eye level to my 6'2 husband, it could really injure someone. Glad this was only $62 total.
My fiancee and I are from England and we were passing through on our way to Oklaholma. ||I mean.... it was hilariously bad. The pictures featured must've been from 10 years prior. The place is beyond run down. The pool water has been replaced with a wonderful concrete based modern art piece... Flies, roaches, the whole place stank of cigarettes and feet. Cracked out zombie people fumbled about throughout the night. Our bedsheets were unwashed. There were blood splatters on the wall. Our neighbours were definitely dealing drugs from their room. Pretty sure I heard a gun being cocked at one point. Shower was terrible.... Did I mention how bad it smelled?....||Having said that it did give us a funny story 🤷🏻♂️. So would recommend to absolutely everyone 👍
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Motel 6 during my trip, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed.
First and foremost, the staff at Motel 6 were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and stress-free. Check-in was a breeze, and they were always ready with a smile to answer any questions or provide recommendations for local attractions and dining options.
The room I stayed in was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The attention to detail was evident, from the neatly made bed to the fresh towels and toiletries in the bathroom.
One of the standout features of my stay at Motel 6 was the excellent value for money. I couldn't believe the quality of service and accommodations I received for such an affordable price. It's clear that the management takes pride in providing a top-notch experience without breaking the bank.
Lastly, the safety and security measures in place at Motel 6 were reassuring. I felt safe throughout my stay, and the motel's commitment to cleanliness and hygiene was evident. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly, and welcoming place to stay.
The stay here was excellent! Rooms were very comfortable and clean and Kelly (the innkeeper) made our stay much more enjoyable. She greeted us every morning with a smile and portrayed a very pleasant atmosphere.
