Let's start with the beds. I'm not sure how old they are or what type of mattress is used, but it felt like someone had laid cardboard over some springs and called it good. I understand I'm not going to get a top of the line mattress, it would have been great to not feel like tiny evil gremlins where using my back as a dance floor. The room was clean, aside for the faint smell of stale cigarettes, but this is fairly common with motel rooms. AC was an absolute beast, thankfully. It chugged away keeping the room a lovely 69F The pool...I was visiting from out of town and wanted to cool off with the family I have in Mojave. I'm not sure why this is a policy, but apparently it's a $10 fee PER PERSON if they aren't guests at the motel. I'm assuming it's due to locals using the pool without having a room, but if someone is staying there, this shouldn't be an issue. The pool does have a grill that's available for use. Despite these issues, the owners are wonderful people who are very kind. If the beds weren't so bad, I don't think I would have complained about the pool.
I really hate giving negative reviews. I will first start with positive things: the room was decent for the price and clean. Great location to my jobsite. Negatives: There are people that reside here and I happened to me next door at 139. Every night they would set up a table and hang out right outside my room. I wouldn't mind if the party started at 8am since I wake up at 4am. But they were loud, drunk and annoying. I called front desk and they said "don't worry they will be quiet" and hour later, "I will tell them in 10 minutes". I didn't want to personally confront them because they were talking about drunk things and I am experienced enough to know drunks can flip a switch. Regardless the Motel did nothing about it and I was forced to change hotels. I am on a job for 2 more weeks and they will no longer be my top hotel pick.
After a long hot day of traveling me & my kids needed a place to get some rest 1st the man in the lobby didn’t allow us to sit in the small lobby to wait for the rooms + it’s 100’ 🥵 outside. 2nd we arrived at 2pm he told us we had to wait for an already clean room until 3pm. 3rd he was extremely rude he said his name was Bobby idk but he’s very unprofessional. Hopefully the next worker be more welcoming to paying guest.
Service was horrible. Very rude people. We asked for towels and they had us give them the towels we had and counted them to make sure we weren't stealing MOTEL 6 TOWELS. Toilet in our bathroom leaked everytime you flushed it and it took about a minute of holding the knob to be able to flush the toilet. I can tell from the water damage on the door that the bathroom had been flooded with human feces multiple times. The floor didn't look like it had been mopped when we came into the room. We had to wipe it down ourselves. Very disgusting motel. Wouldn't suggest going here with children or the elderly. Don't suggest going here in general.
This place is great, the price just makes it better! My room was clean. The hot water was hot and the pressure was strong even on the 2nd floor. Front desk was kind and helpful. Grocery, gas station, and several restaurants next door. This place is a bargain! I'm a PCT hiker and I'm recommend any hiker that wants a place to rest and heal to come here.
If you don’t want to sleep this is the place for you. All night long (first time I remember 2:00am) you will be delighted by super close by trains horns, and with a paper thin pillow… so your insomnia is assured.
This Motel 6 used to be good. After the owner changed to an Indian, there are many things in the rooms that don't work. The pillows and blankets are dirty. They are too old. They even have a problem with the ice that they receive. I used to pass by this place often and used it, but I won't use it anymore. Even if it's 5 or 10 dollars cheaper, rather than stressing out, go somewhere else.
Didn't have anything booked ahead of time, and needed a motel to break up a long journey. I love a cheap Motel, so we just stopped here at random.|It was dark already, and the guy in reception was friendly enough.|Our room was way at the back in the second block.|Room was a bit old and tired, and the neighbours a bit creepy! Only 2 tiny towels in the bathroom, no shampoo etc. We went out to eat, and when we came back I went to reception to ask for more towels - It was a different guy and firstly, he wouldn't even unlock the door, and would only speak to me through the glass, and then he didn't want to give me any! Said 2 towels was enough for 2 people! I didn't realise there was towel rationing at the Motel 6! I pleaded that we needed an extra one each for our hair, and he finally relented.|And then the bloody water wasn't even hot! Just lukewarm, argh!|Wish I'd picked the Best Western next door.
Comfort Inn and Suites Mojave staff was welcoming and easy to work with from the very beginning. Our team organized a 60-person meeting a few weeks ago. The entire staff at the hotel was very welcoming and provided exceptional customer service - from
