Motel 6 Modesto, CA - Motel in Modesto - 1920 W Orangeburg Ave, USA

Staff was polite and friendly. Good location off Hwy 99. Do hear freeway traffic. The room is kind of small. No microwave, coffee maker, or hair dryer in room. No place to put clothes away like a dresser. Prices are average, about $ 70 a night. Every night I have to get room key reactivated !. Don't make the same mistake I did !!

Rates are reasonable, rooms are clean and property is safe. Easy walking distance to stores and restaurants. Staff is where they really shine. Helpful, and courteous. Bobbie is amazing, sweet, genuine, funny and ready to please with a great sense of humor. I had an opportunity to switch motels, chose to stay simply for the fact that staff is awesome. Definitely would stay here again!

A change in management or ownership has turned this once down trodden place into a pleasant comfortable stay again. The rooms look decent and clean , and there is no longer a “creepy” element hanging out in the parking lot or rooms. Great job!!!

Located on a dark industrial street with trash and unkempt surroundings. This place didn't even have a Motel 6 sign out front. They are in the process of remodeling and the remodeled rooms look nice ( I peaked in one room) but the room I had was rundown. The tub had hair in it ( wiped out with a dirty towel is what it looked like ). My room smelled of smoke and I have asthma. Made it tough to be comfortable. The TV is on its last legs. The screen is so dark it's difficult to see the picture. In the middle of the night the fire department showed up presumably for a health related issue. I had to listen to police sirens a couple of times. The website indicates a functional pool but it was drained and blocked off. About all I liked about the experience was that it was easy to book and easy to get in. The bed was comfortable and since it has 5G Verizon access I could use my mobile hotspot to watch TV on my laptop. It was the cheapest place to stay in the area and it was adequate for that purpose. I stayed alone and felt fine but I would not bring my wife or kids here.

I will not stay again bad service rude to many dogs alot of home less out side dirty next time find a better hotel I will stay down town

First of all the customer service is horrible and rude! If you work with the public at least have common courtesy! You must hate your job so look for something you enjoy!

This place is decent. When comparing to a 5-star hotel, this is not a 5 star hotel, lol. On the other hand, in some ways, it was better. On the positive side, they take cash! They have smoking rooms! The staff was, for the most part, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The rates were cheap. If you're looking for a cheap, decent hotel, then this place is perfect. I have no complaints what so ever. I will say that if you're someone who looks down at others or thinks you're better than others, this is probably not a place for you. I will definitely be going back!

I had an amazing stay. Tammie helped me at the front desk and she was very professional and knowledgeable to my requests. The rooms were remodeled and they are absolutely amazing. Very clean and cozy. I’m surprised they only charge $100 a night. I get better sleep here than I do in my own bed. I honestly can’t wait to stay again here soon.
