Motel 6 Modesto, CA - Downtown - Featured Reviews (859)
The place is locked down tight. FeeIs safe. The Wifi signal is weak at best. The morning coffee is consistently very good. Housekeeping is through and polite and the place is very clean. And I stayed there for two weeks and never had any issues with management, even though I lost my key several times, I was always given a new one without question or attitude. The rooms were comfortable and the price was competitive. I'll stay here again.
It is a great place to do adult activities with your buddies and some working ladies. Wouldn't recommend bringing your family and kids. Lady next door was ruining the party. With her stupid banging on the wall. Like, dude if you don't like the noise get a better hotel.
The staff were very professional polite and outgoing , and the rooms were very nice and cleaned every day . I really felt comfortable and I gotta say that I will try and use this motel every time I'm out here. Thank you motel 6 .it's been a pleasure , " Really appreciate your professionalism, cleanliness , respect. With utmost respect. Jason Everett Gipson.
The worst Place i have ever been . Dirty, with hairs in the covers and cockroaches in the shower. A Nightmare!!! I asked to be reimboursed, after showning the photos, and at the reception they promised that they would have done but at the end they didnt.
sick hot room no ammenities refigerator or microwave didnt come near the bathroom or want to know the place seeing flies everywheresmelled horrible scummy unclean bedding old furniture not worth the almost 100 a night never coming back
I didn't stay , because the lobby man manipulated prices for 2 rooms. I did stay in another motel 6 and had no problems.
I spent two weeks there and it wouldn't have been so bad if people were quieter and there wasn't so many crackheads out in front.
The parking lot was dark, full of vehicles maybe being lived in and cats. We walked around to check in, but because they are so scared of their clientele, they keep you locked out and you talk through bullet proof glass to check in. That is where I knew we were in real trouble. The two young boys also took extremely long while we were left out there in a dangerous area. Once checked in, we went to our designated entrance - there seems to be girls stationed at entrances to either make access for drug operations or a brothel run smoothly. Once inside, the smell was horrid. Our room had a faint cigarette smell, the floors were ripped up and you could see layers of filth on them, the bed and curtains were wrinkled, but the delight was the bathroom. There was a hole in the door and hair was stuck to every surface, toothpaste left on the sink counter, and there was dirt all over the shower; basically the inside was maybe never cleaned. Going to sleep was another story, mostly because it’s not possible. There are paper paper thin walls, you will hear stomping, people yelling, laughing, dogs barking and fighting, babies crying and someone just dropping a brick on the floor above you every few minutes. I wish I had read the correct reviews before booking this and if you accidentally book this thing, pray your car is there in the morning and not broken into. And remember that parking lot I mentioned? You’ll be locked in and they won’t warn of this. After searching to find their phone number and asking them to open it, they won’t be thrilled so enjoy some more time in the drug-dealing, cat fighting lot!
