Motel 6 Minot, ND - Motel in Minot - 1515 22nd Ave SW, USA

I was pleasantly surprised, as Motel 6’s can be hit or miss. The room was clean, plenty of fresh towels, and the bed was comfortable. Microwave and fridge in room. Lovely pool area, and staff is welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to Applebees, and the mall and Target. 5 minute drive to The Scandinavian Heritage Park. Pets stay free. I felt safe staying here. Rates are fair. When in Minot again, this is definitely my go to.

The elevator was broken, and fumes from the pool made me sick and also the mustyness of the room. The room was dark and gloomy, and there was no cable TV. The air conditioner is a window unit in the wall and was falling apart. The room was like a sauna. After the clerk came and checked the ac, I left to get dinner. The room was cooler on my return, but still extremely humid, and the musty smell and dampness of the carpet was horrendous. I wasn't able to get a different room as they were full. I will say that the bed was great! I found another place and checked out in the morning. The fumes from the pool and the mustyness in the room affected my lungs and respiratory system greatly! On checking out, the clerk wasn't surprised and seemed embarrassed by the reasons why I was leaving early. No more Motel 6 for me if I can help it. Tom Bodet would be greatly disappointed and turn the light off!

Hotel is in need of some updates, furniture and bed in particular needs to be replaced. We stayed one night - we were tired and just needed to sleep so it was ok for the one night but would not stay again if there were other better choices. Staff was very friendly, there was a pool but we did not use so cannot comment. No breakfast which I like in other hotels - provides a quick, free way to start your day without wasting time looking for nearby breakfast places.

One thing I would immediately noticed when i go inside the room is the smell and cleanliness but most of all the sheets. No smell and the room is clean and the sheets are clean to my skin. I know if the sheets are dirty or have not change if i get itchy. Some hotels dont change sheets to save money. That is why I gave 5 stars to housekeeping for making the room/rooms clean. THANK YOU♥️|Thank you also for giving us a room that is near the exit so that our fur baby can do his business outside. Although its an old hotel what matters to me is the cleanliness of the place. I will be coming back to this place again. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay and we like that it is quiet. No children screaming.

We broke down at this motel or we honestly probably would've found a different place to stay. We had 2 kids and 2 dogs, and as soon as we walked into our room it smelled like dog urine. The carpets are old and dirty, shower still had hair in it so housekeeping is anything but thorough. The bathroom also had a urine smell and you could tell they don't clean the floors well if at all. Would not recommend if you care about cleanliness. I understand it's a cheap motel but cleanliness shouldn't be ignored regardless. Glad we were just passing through, I will never stay at a motel 6 again.

Good deal at this price! This is a recently recycled Comfort Inn. Still has most of the amenities except no breakfast and no cable TV – broadcast only on rabbit ears! But everything works, bed and carpets are fine, clean and quiet. However, it is going downhill with cracks in the fiberglass tub, peeling wallpaper and a fidgety door lock. But for $58 a night, taxes included, I’m giving an extra star for outstanding value. Check most recent reviews for possible further deterioration.

A friend who stayed here wanted me to bring food 🥑 here. My friend said Motel 6. I was like which one? Thought there was more than one Motel 6 in Minot. Wish my friend would of just said, it's next to 🍎 🐝🐝 fool. He he By the time my friend got the food I think 🤔 it was cold. My friend didn't get the food until about 2 hours later he he.

Would have given an higher rating if we hadn’t had to bring in an electric heater in from our camper to heat up our room! Easy to get to, excellent for parking an SUV towing a camper. Well lit parking lot. Check in was fast and easy. No extra fees for our dog was appreciated. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly & informative. Not fancy but adequate for an overnight stay. Enough towels in the room, keys would not work on one of the outer doors but did not bother to deal with it.
