Motel 6 Milan, OH - Sandusky - Motel in Milan - 11406 US Hwy 250 N, USA

Stayed here in the past primarily because of the Tesla destination chargers that were easy to access and plentiful for a hotel of this size. Since my last stay, the rooms seem to be not as well maintained (non-functioning lights, hairs throughout the bathroom, dirty toilet seats). ||There are other hotels in the area with more amenities (continental breakfast, cleaner) that are only $10-$20 more although they lack the EV chargers. Will be giving those my business on future stays.

Positive: Lower price than surrounding hotels. Negative: The room was dirty. We found 5 dead stink bugs between the bed and window. We wiped the floor with a wet rag and it was filthy. Neighbors were loud until 4:30am. Desk was called and noise continued. Smelled like Marijuana in rooms and hallways.

This place was a disaster! If not for the price we would have left. The room was FILTHY!! The floors hadn’t been swept….let alone mopped….our feet literally stuck to the floor! The bathroom was the same way. There was hair in the shower and sink. It was awful!!! We’ll never go back!

Horrible condition!!! Hair in the sink, floors not cleaned and dog hair!!! Whoever is in charge of these rooms is not paying attention!!! Never will I stay there again!!!! This was awful!!! Also the tub had a dark ring inside of it. You guys need some help

Not a bad place to be. My first time in a motel 6 actually. This one didn't have a microwave or fridge. I don't know if they usually do. The place was clean and the bed comfy. Lots of hot water. The AC unit in the room was loud tho. Sounded like an engine. But other than that it was fine. Stayed one night as I was just passing thru.

Room: Clean, bed hard but whatever. ||||The NEVER AGAIN? We arrived after a late night even at around 1:00 AM. 4ish AM we wake up to a full out brawl between I believe a couple in the hall. They’re chasing each other up and down the hall, He’s yelling profanities at her, she’s screaming back, you can hear them fist fighting. Call the front desk FOUR TIMES to have them handle things. NO ANSWER! The couple finally goes into their room….We leave….5:15 AM. Get to the front desk to this kid in his 20s on the phone trying to be forceful and tell said couple that they need to “leave right now because you’re being too loud. I’m serious, you need to leave now or I’m calling the police.” Mind you, this has now been going on for an HOUR where we tried calling, couldn’t safely get out of our room, and he STILL HASN’T CALLED THE POLICE TO HANDLE THIS ISSUE!” Tell this kid we want a refund for the room. We have only been here for 4 hours max and really haven’t slept at all. He hands us his regional manager’s card. We tell him we want to check out right now. His response? “I can’t check you out right now because I’m in the middle of an audit!” Seriously? Nope. Never again.

Ive stayed here in the past as well as while I'm writing this review. I have nothing bad to say about it. Whats awesome is the lady at the front desk on wednesday may 22 of 2024 initially said there was a deposit for smoking in the room. Then since I was alittle short of being able to cover the deposit as well as the cost of the room, she asked if I was a smoker. Of course I told her I dont smoke but my girlfriend does and I thoroughly explained I would let her know she had to smoke outside. All went well. About an hour later after we unpacked and got ready for bed, we are outside and doing our business as far as smoking and whatnot. She came out to have a smoke herself and right there and then we proved our words were just as true as she took them when I paid for the room. Staff here are awesome. Rooms are nice. Nothing to complain about. Great place to crash for the night if youre local or if youre not local and coming out this way for cedar point. As far as staying here while going to cedar point, Id rather stay here than the hotels in sandusky because the other hotels in town are packed. This one separates you from the rest and therefore isnt too crowded and the building is overall more relaxing. That is critical if youre looking for a hotel to atleast sleep at. 5 star rating well deserved. I will continue to come back here as needed.

Clean place to lay your head after a long day at Cedar Point. Beds are super firm but I still slept good. Loved the multiple Showtime movie channels. Just wished they had coffee 24/7.
