Motel 6 Midvale, UT - Motel in Midvale - 7263 Catalpa St, USA

I just need to say how shocked I was about the condition of the rooms. This room was on the 2 floor and from the moment you walked in it felt like a sauna. The AC did not work and asked management for a fan but they said No....No T.V. in the room and there were holes in the walls pretty decent size holes and the bathroom sink faucet seemed as if it was going to come out when you turned on the water. There were stains on the bed sheets and the floor had not been cleaned recently. You also cannot open the windows to get fresh air which I wanted to do because it was so hot in the room. Worst part about it was that they charge $70 bucks plus tax. Talked to management about the condition of the room and if a different room is available one with a T.V. they said no. The pool water was a very dark green color and really dirty and disgusting. The only reason why I'm giving the location 2 stars is because the location wasn't bad and it was close to gas stations and places to eat which was convenient and the freeway. If I had an option to give negative 00 Stars I would. I will never go back to this motel and certainly not recommend. Thanks

By far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Staff was wonderful, but the air conditioner didn't work, only got 1 towel, no microwave or fridge, TV screen was outdated. 2am ended up switching rooms because the smell was horrible and the heat was unbelievable. I wish I would have taken pictures of the first room but I got pictures of the second room. 2nd room only good thing was there was a microwave and air conditioning. The phone was busted, shower had hair in it and was very dirty. Got 2 hand towels for towels to dry off with. Pool was closed, only got sheets on the beds and 1 pillow, sheets were dirty, and there were Nails sticking out of the wall by the bed!!! Luckily I found them with my own arm and not my infant. Toilet seat was broken, sink wouldn't drain, bag over smoke detector, Absolutely terrible hotel and not worth the price. Stayed in room 214 and 263

I stayed in room 110 and let me tell you, this is a bad motel. It's not a Motel 6 anymore, it's an Econo Lodge. Don't stay here unless you have no other options, which is the only reason I did. It was either this, or the streets. I was told it was a non smoking room, but as soon as I walked in it reeked of cigarettes and piss. The floors feel like they haven't been mopped in months. The bathroom door is split in pieces and falling apart. There is a huge crack in the window. The AC doesn't work at all so you better bring a fan. There are cockroaches. The beds are covered in cigarette holes and are disgusting. Not in a safe part of the city either. The pool looks like it has been closed for years as it is opaque green, and the whole area smells like a dirty aquarium. There are also several rooms with boarded windows. Also there were no towels whatsoever, and only half a roll of toilet paper. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE FOR A PLACE TO LIVE.

Had a sign hanging on the railing showing it was Econolodge. First room no fridge, microwave, towels, bedding. Air conditioner didn't work in either room and it was hot, used my own fan to make it bearable, no covers over the very dirty bathroom vent fans. Had to ask for towels, smell was bad even though it was a none smoking room, drain in shower not attached and kept falling out, fridge and freezer not keeping things cold. Pool was closed, no coffee in lobby, no coffee maker, no continental breakfast.

I thought I was getting what was advertised when you look them up NOPE, I definitely got the complete opposite! I booked a room a day in advance, it was through a third party to get even a more cheaper rate, like you would with Expedia. When I got into my room, there was no bath towel and the TV didn’t work at all BUT, the worse part of it all was their COCKROACHES decided to come out and say, HI to me!! And the people staying there are even questionable. I go and tell them at the front desk about everything with the room they gave me and the lady was very rude, like I did something wrong!! And ask me if I wanted to change rooms ah, no thank you!! And no refund from the Motel 6, or the third party company I booked from for the motel or even my bank, I had to eat $205.00 so be aware of third party companies that get you a good rate, and really check out your place to! I would not recommend this motel. Zero stars for this place, really.

Was so hot, was told no ac when we called. reading comments from others, all true. it's hot in the rooms, cooler outside but sketchy ppl about so have to keep it closed. no towels, luckily we had one.. no floor mats, no wash cloths, sink sprays forward, not into sink. my pillow looked dirty. I just had to flip it over. windows are screwed shut. if they are so cheap not to fix ac, at least make the windows able to be opened. don't stay here, needs to be closed down. the more ppl keep renting this sad place will stay open. why don't they have towels? ac? etc, even after all the complaints. So at 415 am..there appeared a bedbug on my pillow. I opened the door and stayed awake bc the room door was open. it helped a lot with room temp, but I think it's because they have a bed bug problem. They are keeping the rooms hot for a reason. I didn't sleep. so basically paid 70 plus tax for a pee stained toilet.

Stayed in room 155 found condoms in the room behind the nightstand called and spoke to misty nothing was done requested our money back no reply from management. Accidentally left our blankets in the room and our own pillow only got 1 blanket back and they stole the other one and pillow. Waiting for manager to call now. Was told a couple of weeks ago they're ac would be fixed still not working and it's been in the upper 80's the past couple of days had to sleep with door open. Had to buy our own fan should have taken it out of our stay as well. Kicked service dogs nothing was done about that to the front desk nothing was done it's like they don't care. The lady at the front desk on May 23 was very rude to us we found the condoms on May 22 at 4:30

Room smelled very bad, Bed covers had cigarette burns on it, Girl at the front desk was rude and condensending, looked at me and said " I speak English" this was before I even spoke a word to her. She assumed I didn't speak English because the shirt I was wearing said COLOMBIA on it. The room didn't have any towels. We had to leave the door open for the smell to go away. Awful experience.
