Motel 6 Medford, OR - Motel in Medford - 950 Alba Dr, USA

My stay was hands down amazing. The area is quiet, the room was very clean, and I had an overall great experience. I’ve only ever stayed in higher end hotels, and this location met all of those same standards. The housekeeper that cleaned my room when I checked in was named Lydia, and I just wanted to show my appreciation for her because she did an outstanding job. The blankets and sheets smelled fresh and looked clean as could be. The floors were immaculate. The bathroom was spotless. I know it’s only 5 stars but it was a 10/10 experience especially for the price. Will absolutely be coming back next time I’m in Medford.

I would’ve have given 5 stars, great customer service, greeted by Chris (believe it’s his name) everything so smooth, polite. The only reason I am giving 1 star is due to bed bugs my husband was woken up with bites we thought hmmm maybe mosquitoes. But no that was not the case here. If we wouldn’t encounter bed bugs I would gladly gave this hotel a 5 star rating. Am not sure if his name is Brian, he was helpful and understanding, he did offer another room, I just requested a refund which it did happen.

The rooms are affordable, clean, and well kept. The pool is nice too! The AC/heater is loud. The TV's taunt you with Netflix, but you can't use it. You are kinda in a sketchy spot, but if you are just looking for a place to sleep after a day out and about then it is just what you need. There happened to be a lot of early risers while I stayed there, seems like many people live here? There is a Dairy Queen right next to it, so great for late night ice cream runs.

It's a great place to stay if you don't want to sleep. I was on the bottom floor, so at 7 am, it sounded like a herd of elephants were in the room upstairs. People slamming doors, then someone was working with a drill. Then there was a guy with a leaf blower... And, my situation is that I hiked for 6 hours near San Francisco, then drove 6 hours to Medford, arrived at 2 am. Now, I plan on going to Crater Lake with limited sleep, and I'm no spring chicken. The rooms appeared clean, but the room was malodorus. I could not tell where the smell was coming from. Other than that, everything was great!

Lady was super nice! With that being said the room ventilation kept pumping out cat hair so it made it really bad on my sinuses there was no coffee pot microwave or refrigerator, pool was nice and clean also the shower was backwards I've never seen anything like that before made it awkward to shower in for sure.

Upon check in we were given key 136, room a mess money all on bed and stuff everywhere. You should know if a guest is in room still or not. Room 2. A non smoking room with clearly smoking happened. 3rd room. Not enough towels, no coffe pot, no fridge, no microwave. No service either. No one will answer a phone. When I went for towels he gives me blue ones and one is dirty and there are not enough in the rooms as it is. Will highly recommend somewhere else.

Devin is the man! Everything went smoothly here, and couldn’t ask for such great service from staff. Assistant general manager Devin helped me when I had a couple questions and definitely made my trip a whole lot better. Would come here again.

We had 4 rooms. One had a dirty bed with chips in the sheets and no toilet paper and not even sure it had been cleaned. Second one a bit better and appeared cleaner. Third room had dirty pillow cases ,also tons of dirt and stuff underneath the bed. Fan in bathroom didn't work. Last fourth room was about the same and could have been cleaned better. No convenients in rooms such as a microwave or refrigerator, or hairdryer. TV was more of an annoyance than enjoyable they all had 12 back lite white lights showing through . Guessing to keep people from stealing them . Very dated which normally wouldn't bother us but in addition to everything else is why we gave the review
