Motel 6 Mcallen, TX - Motel in McAllen - 700 W Expy 83, USA

The lady who checked us in was wonderful BUT, the pillows are paper thin, the bed hurt my back so bad that I wanted to cry. But the good part was the amount of partying here 🤦🏼‍♀️ men were talking soooooo loud in the parking lot and these walls match the pillows, paper thin, and the music sounded like I was at a club. I called the front desk for some sort of assistance and the guy was nice but asked me what I wanted him to do, if I explained myself to him then I would assume he would know what to do. Never again will I stay here. But the lady who checked us in was wonderful, I just had to say that twice.

OMG! This place screamed for me to leave a review because of how terrible it was. We booked this place for the area convenience but I should have left right as I went in. We were looking for a cheap yet clean place to stay for only a night and being that I’ve stayed at plenty of Motel 6’s this has got to be the worst one. The room was DIRTY I mean awfully dirty every corner. The furniture looked like it was picked up from the trash or donated from jail. 2 lights in the room did not work, night stand had small bugs- which I presume are cockroaches- coming out of it .I don’t know how anyone could leave a good review but you can count that mine is real. I seriously could not even sleep because I did not want something crawling on me so we left a light on (one of the few working ones) to scare the bugs away. Also, the smoke detector seems like it was ripped off the wall and they left the wire connections just hanging there🫠 THE CITY OF MCALLEN NEEDS TO SEND AN INSPECTOR ASAP.

Clean, comfortable and very affordable. This is where I always stay when I'm in McAllen! Just a thought...ask for a room at the rear of the property if you're a light sleeper. Traffic noise from the freeway at the front of the building can be a bit much. Otherwise, my favorite!

I’ve stayed here for 3 months had a couple hiccups in the beginning but the staff is very accommodating & friendly I’m thankful for them & their understanding of my situation & how they took care of me while I stayed here looking for housing!!! Thanks guys for making me feel comfortable!!’

Needed bedding for my room and was told to go to housekeeping and get it myself. A little irritating but fine. I go there, housekeeper disappears into a room. Wait several minutes, she never comes back. I see a sheet folded and that it’s the size I need, NOW she comes back and snaps at me to get out. I tell her I was told to go there, and ask for the sheets. She claims she doesn’t have any bedding, which is a blatant lie because it’s in plain sight behind her. She tells me NOW I have to go upstairs to a different housekeeper and get sheets from her. At this point I’m really ticked off and she just quits responding. Had to go back to the front desk to tell them I still need a change of bedding. This is how I’m treated where I spent money? Wow. ||Terrible service, terrible way to treat people.

Waww, pas trop chère, les chambre à sont à merveille tellement belle ,la piscine c'est comfortable

Positive: Nothing really just that it was clean Negative: Yes the toilet didn¿t flush right away had to put water to make it flush, then at 12 at night the ac stopped working called front desk and they couldn¿t do nothing about it, and could only refund me if I left right then, so I wasn¿t happy

Good environment and never had a complaint to offer always got good service
