Tons of dead roaches, but they outside! They be spraying sum that kills them cause they never make it in the rooms, they’re always dying as they try and crawl their way there I spent a week there and all I saw was just a dying baby roach and some weird dying bug, so way better off than 90% of the other motels
Cleanest Motel 6 I've ever stayed in. Good size TV,big room AND a Full size refrigerator! The staff was very attentive and the room cleaned daily. I travel for work for months at a time. I was pleasantly surprised and will absolutely stay again.
Booked a room late between 1am & 3am using Travel Agency due to late flight arrival and had to sleep in a gas station after my card was charged for the room. Do not waste your money or your time with Motel 6 in Luling, Louisiana. The manager was rude, disrespectful and dishonest. I have yet to be reimbursed for the cost of the room reserved that I was not allowed to rest in due to overbooking by Motel 6 & Travel Agency. It was a complete scam due to Mardi Gras celebrations.
We stayed there for a weekly rate and thr rooms were decent. We brought our dogs and when we left the cleaning lady said we would be charged 25$ for dog hair being on the blanket or we would get banned for life. She said they couldnt wash it and get the dog hair off which isn't true, we have the same kind of blankets I wash them all the time and the dog hair comes off- yes you have to clean out the drier trap but it still comes off. She said they spent 49$ on them brand new , I've worked in hotels and they buy everything in bulk for much cheaper so I don't believe that. She said we'd get banned for life if we didn't pay. I don't care if we get banned we found a Roach (see picture below). Then after we left they tried charging my card $50, after she said it was 25$. So they are liars and attempted thieves in my book, and they have bugs! I don't plan on staying in any motel 6 ever again they are all rip off bug infested nightmares!
There was no light bulb in one of the lamps, lol. No available plugs near the night stands for phone, etc. No shampoo, conditioner, or lotion, but there was bar soap. The bed had rips near the bottom, and cigarette burns on the comforter all over it. The bed frame was rusty and screeched each time either of us got in or out of bed or moved. The heater worked, though.
Alex is great really clean rooms very accommodating.
I do not recommend this motel. The room was somewhat clean, and the beds were comfortable. But it was a very noisy area. The people in the next room made a racquet and had to be asked to quiet down. Upstairs, there was crashing and dragging sounds of furniture being moved all night long. It was impossible to sleep through it. The front desk clerk wouldn't deal with it nor allow us to change rooms. I won't be back.
One of the 20 motels we stayed at during a cross-country road trip, and one of the best. The owners were very friendly, responsive, and really cared about the property. We chose it because it was pet-friendly and drive-up, and close to NOLA, but it turned out to be super-clean, comfortable, and quiet (except for the train, which was no big deal). We ended up staying two nights because of car issues. We'd definitely stay there again, and highly recommend it.
First time in but will be returning. Our waitress Meridian was amazing. Food was awesome with large portions. You can tell the water was filtered and they know how to pour a beer.
