Motel 6 Lomita, CA - Motel in Lomita - 2237 Pacific Coast Hwy, USA

The place is cute and the rooms are big, but they are NOT honest and it is not clean. We arrived with a reservation for a week and a half for $1115., including tax. They took our credit cards and charged us $1,331. When I gave them the reservation number and complained, they said the price had gone up because they were busy. I threatened to call the main number. That night, they charged an additional $68 to my account WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. I complained again, and they said that they would reverse it, but they never did.|| I called the main Motel 6, and they said there was nothing they could do because it is a franchise. I am disputing the charges with my bank. As soon as I get home, I’m going to cancel my card. I may file fraud charges.|| We have been here 6 days and they haven’t given us fresh towels or emptied our trash. They said they would clean every three days. They also had trash strewn all over the ground by the dumpster for 4 days before they picked it up. Stay here at your own risk!!

Me and my family were looking for a quick pit stop on our trip. The service was great, rooms were clean and standard, but the location was perfect.The beach was within 10 mins from the property and several other facilities.

Clean room, good area and office staff is very friendly. Beds are comfortable, sheets are clean. Overall a very good stay for the money. Would recommend this property again for families or if your traveling on a cruise. I’m used to Motel 6 being just ok. This property was beyond ok. Very clean, and welcoming.

There were brown stains on our bedsheets, a huge crack in our sink, and dirty towels in the bathroom. I had then went to the front desk to tell the guy, he, then put on his slippers and went in to inspect our room. He told me all he could do was give me my $50 security deposit back, but not issue me a refund. We were there for no more than an hour. Not to mention, homeless guy was staying right next to us, wouldn’t stop talking to us when we would come out of our room, and kept making a lot of noise. The walls were super thin, so there was no sense of safety or privacy. And not to mention, these three weird guys standing outside their rooms drinking, and just staring at us as we came in and out of our room as well. Huge waste of $137

I felt racist vibe from the person at the desk. And and a unpleasant smell in the main office. I was able to book online but I arrived at the Lomita location the declined services. That's has no place in our society.

Awful experience. We reserved our room on the Motel 6 website, like we always do. When we arrived, the owner/manager who lives on site, asked how many people were staying in the room. We said, that there would be two of us. He began to berate us with a loud voice - the reservation said one person! It's an extra $15 for two people. We stay at Motel 6 all of the time. I mean, all of the time and have never been told to pay more for two people. The room itself smelled and all the towels were stained and almost brown. I think that because of the way the owner/manager treated us, we can't recommend this place. You're paying for a low budget hotel, but you're paying enough to be treated decently.

The refrigerator won't stop clicking. The room smells like a sour foot. The A.C is barely working at 5 percent capacity. With all this the front desk basically said i had no right to complain.

I wished I could leave a minus star the manager took advantage and charge us 189.00 for the room witch was infested with bedbugs smell bad we couldn't wait to check out I will never recommend this brand in general all this hotels seems to be crack hotels. The location is great what a pettie. On your reply just now I will never recommend or use this hotel If you so regrefull it will be nice to have a reimbursement for the over charge this hotel need to be fumigated "BED BUGS INFESTATION" do something about it don't just be sorry
