Motel 6 Lodi, CA - Motel in Lodi - 1140 S Cherokee Ln, USA

I wasn't sure about staying at a Motel 6, this one was great. Friendly and helpful at check in. The room was very neat, clean, and a comfortable bed. They have been updating. I would absolutely stay here again. Within walking distance of a couple of places to eat.

This was our second time visiting this motel. It's reasonably priced, well maintained and the staff are friendly. Our room had a fridge, a microwave on top of the fridge, a blow dryer, a wall mounted LED TV, a desk and 2 chairs, and clothes storage. The beds were clean and relatively comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean, and everything was laid out and tidy. The A/C unit worked but could use a recharge. Our room did have a few minor issues that did need fixing (like a chewed bathroom door that needed to be replaced). Also, the weather striping on the room door needs to be replaced, also. Also important to mention is that the property is pet friendly and includes two dog potty areas with poop bags and trash containers.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the rooms are. They are simple but much nicer than expected for a motel 6. The night front desk gentleman was very helpful. We were originally given a 2nd floor room but as they do not have elevators and I am traveling with my parents who are seniors and one can not do stairs, he immediately got us a 1st floor room. This is one of the best hotels for cheap in the area! The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff is always nice and ready to offer the best service. I would definitely recommend.

The motel is set in off the main street. There was construction in the lot adjacent to the hotel so there was temporary fencing along the driveway. We had a truck and trailer but were able to park along the driveway. Room was spacious and clean. The A/C was pretty loud but it worked well. Price for the room was excellent.

I was very disappointed when my partner and I rented two nights in their “Hot tub room” which is the only room on the property with a small private hot tub in the room for 140$ a night, and then the TV had two stripped out HDMI ports so I was stuck watching whatever played on TV and could not stream or game which is something I was really looking forward too, as I know the other rooms that I have personally been in had functioning HDMI ports. But they are a very pet friendly property and they have friendly lobby staff. Everything else was acceptable and clean, but 140$ for a room with a broken TV is very disappointing. Everything else aside this is still THE BEST motel 6 I have ever seen.

Great value, but a bit noisy. Has on-site EV charging for a reasonable rate. ($0.75/hr for a 6.2kW charge rate) I haven't had the best luck with Motel 6 in the past 2 decades. I decided to give this one a try based on the reviews and overall, I think it is a decent value. Comfortable bed, clean rooms and grounds and reasonably priced. The biggest drawback is it's closeness to Hwy 99. Even though I asked for a room away from the highway, I could still hear the vehicles and trucks driving by. The constant fan setting on the HVAC system helped mask the noise a lot, but the low frequency booming from the 18 wheelers found its way around that. The only other thing to note is that the curtains allow light to enter the room from the sides, even at night, so if you need a pitch-black room, this will not cut it. If you need a reasonably priced place to stay, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I stayed in room 204 and the room was clean. Plenty of outlets which I love cause of all the charging of my devices etc. beds were ok , the pillows were ok. Tv worked, bathroom clean and I loved there was a microwave and mini fridge! The property was quiet at night. And there are plenty of places to eat nearby and the fwy is nearby. I will definitely be staying here again!
