Motel 6 Libertyville, IL - Motel in Libertyville - 1809 N Milwaukee Ave, USA

I found the location hard to get into and out of. They need to change the pin on Google Maps so that it shows the other available entrance. There is an adjacent gas station to be able to get whatever you might need. It was quiet the night I stayed there. Like most hotels nowadays, the smell of pot is all around. I like that there's no carpet in the rooms so it feels cleaner, but the rooms could use a good deep cleaning. The desk clerks that I interacted with were very nice. I never saw any coffee or food offerings. I liked the larger fridge and microwave, that was nice. My biggest issue was the mattress, it was so uncomfortable that I checked out a day early and decided to go home and just drive back to my event. I do appreciate that they allowed dogs. I was careful as always and covered both beds with my own sheets to protect them from dog hair and then took them home to launder them.

My stay here was pleasant. Staff were all nice, room was clean, nights were quiet. Except for one night woke up to someone yelling outside and dogs going crazy. The entrance was a bit confusing and the place needs to be renovated. Other than that it was a decent place to stay.

Positive: Nothing. The hotel was so dirty. No hot water in the shower. No hot water in the sink. Air conditioner leaking water on the floor. There's a couple hours I just got up and left. Negative: No I will never go there again

Five stars for me personally. I don’t need anything fancy I just want a clean quiet place to sleep and relax. It worked great for that. Like I told them… If I ran the place I would run a little tighter ship in the areas of maintenance and upkeep.

This M6 could be a lot better - with only small changes - like getting the hallway carpets cleaned a times a year - and doing a professional job of cleaning on room floors - but given this chain is owned by a big investment company, it's highly unlikely they want to spend the money to do that - stayed one night to see if it was as bad as many of the reviews said it was - I found the service at the desk was friendly and helpful - and I dealt with both the nighttime and daytime desk people - anyway, no frills aside, I decided it was decent and booked another week here - price is right - service and facilities aren't half as bad as most people say ☺

I understand this isn't a 5 star hotel or anything, but I would, at the very least, expect the room to be clean.|We stayed on Sunday night July 2, 2023.|There were two beds in the room. One of them had been slept in and had long black hairs all in it. The bathroom had hairs everywhere as well. Very little water pressure in the shower.|It was definitely not cleaned.|The lady at the front desk at 9pm was not welcoming at all. She was too busy with her phone to be welcoming or pleasant at all.|Garbage throughout the hallways.|Disgustingly dirty place.|It was gross.

it was very average, we stayed only one night so it was enough. a little dingy but nothing unlivable.
