Motel 6 Liberal, KS - Motel in Liberal - 722 E Pancake Blvd, USA

Do not go to this hotel! I booked a week in advanced and called everyday trying to make sure the dirt lot was there for truck parking and they never answered should have just canceled then. I showed up at 3 to check in doors were locked with a piece of paper saying to call this phone number for assistance I called he said he was in the back and would be up in 2 minutes I stood there for 20 and no one ever came. I said forget it canceled reservation online and went to the days inn instead. Drove by there the next day as it's in a small town so you'll pass it on your way to do things and parking lot was still completely empty. They might as well just shut down.

I don’t expect a luxurious cushy stay at a motel 6. It’s a budget friendly stay. But that being said, the night before I stayed in a motel 6 in New Mexico with wood floors and modern decor for $55. This one was $70 and it was pretty dirty. After putting my stuff in the fridge I realized later it wasn’t even on. When I turned it on it was so loud I just shut it off again. Heater was very dirty and wasn’t working properly. I couldn’t get the shower head to turn to a different setting and it was horribly dirty. It is pretty loud as the road is right there. Room stays pretty lit up because the curtains are literally 6” away from the window. But the pros…the bed was very comfortable and the parking lot is spacious for big rigs.

We stayed here for just one night so it was okay. The bed closest to the bathroom had a big dip in it and the ceiling fan didn't work in the bathroom but overall the room was fine for what we needed it for. The staff was friendly during check-in and check-out. I was glad we got there after dark because the outside of the building is a little scary and needs some cosmetic work.

Friendly staff, clean and safe. Microwave & refrigerator in the room. Hairdryer on the wall. Nice beds, good lighting, everything worked. Relaxing and got a good nights sleep. The front desk person was great. She remembered me from when I called to ask about having the dogs with us. She placed us on the back side so we would have easy access to walk the dogs. She said that would be better and safer than by the busy street out front. There was also a nice grass area out back. This Motel 6 was so much better than the one in St Joseph, MO. (We will never stay in St Joseph again!)

We were greeted with a friendly and efficient check in. No coffee, but it was late so I understand. The room was clean and well supplied. The wifi was as fast as I could have hoped for. There were some significant maintenance issues in the bathroom. All in all, for 2 people and a dog on a 1600 mile drive, it was enough.

Rooms are very clean beds are very comfortable.Management is the greatest Is very polite and professional I recommend this motel to anyone that is traveling I stay in motels most of the year And this is one of the best motel six i've ever been in

This is one of the older motel 6's that has not been fully updated yet. It did however have a new comfortable bed and a fresh coat of paint and the housekeepers do a good job keeping it clean. The shower had plenty of hot water with good pressue. The rates are reasonable and the dog is always welcome with no extra charge. We will definitely stay again when we come through. UPDATE: We came back here expecting another good experience but we got a different room with a broken down bed with a filthy mattress and the room was not very clean . We went back to the desk and asked for a different room which was a little cleaner but the mattress had a big hole with a hard spring sticking up. We were tired so we decided to stay but i had to sleep in the middle of the bed . I still give it 5 stars for customer service because the clerk was very helpful but i don't think we'll be back

Would have given 5 stars, but they didn't leave the light on. Or the AC. C'mon. Leave it at 80 at least. 100 degree room takes 3 hours to cool off. Old but clean. Good location and friendly staff. Plenty of trailer parking. Cheap. I woulda paid 10 bucks more for a cooled off room.
