Motel 6 Lexington, KY - East I-75 - Motel in Lexington - 2260 Elkhorn Rd, USA

Location was close to the free way but other then that, we requested a handicap room on the first floor due to mobility issues and stair use. They said they saw the request but gave us second floor room and would not issue a refund. They don't have an elevator eithier. Got to the room and toilet wouldn't flush. The guy at the counter just kept saying to remove the lid and so it manually. A few times it almost over flowed. The A/c was loud but would not get cold. At check out "jay" ( i think he said his was) said he did see the ADA request for a handicap room and doesn't know why we didn't get it. Very gross place. I wish they would have j7st given us a refund when they didn't have first floor availability but they said they would not issue a refund. Once got the the room took a few hours to get the swelling down from using the stairs. Definitely would not recommend staying there. Between the ADA issue, toilet broken, and no A/c.... save your time and go somewhere else.

I booked 3 weeks in advance to get a King Non Smoking on the front of the building. I was told they were not available and then stuck at the very rear of the motel. Not the cleanest. My room was quite atrocious. Hole in the bathroom ceiling. Mold. Cigarette burns. Black marks on the walls. Black marks on the towels indicating they had been used for cleaning rags. It would never pass a common maintenance or housekeeping inspection. Also, checkout was at 11:00 AM… 10:50 AM, the housekeeper is beating on my door. Spend an extra $20 and get a better hotel.

I will never stay here again. Stayed for a week waiting for my new apartment to be ready. They charged a $150 deposit for a $70 room, reason being that I hadn't ever been there before. They told me that I wasn't allowed to have any visitors or people over to my room or else I'd be evicted, even though I didn't have, or plan to have, any visitors. They made it clear that I couldn't stay longer than a week, even though I paid ahead of time. I found out after I had been there a few days that none of the other people I met there had the same rules as I seemed to. They didn't get charged a deposit and there was a couple I met who were staying at the hotel that had been there in the same room for almost a month. The only difference between the other tenants and myself was race. Not one Caucasian person I talked to there had to pay anything for a deposit, nor did they have a restriction on how many days they could stay. There was also a man in the bushes between the hotel parking lot and Arby's parking lot who kept shouting and screaming at the top of his lungs. When I said something to the front desk about it, they informed me that there was nothing they could do because he wasn't on their property. NEVER AGAIN!!

Not what I was expecting and wouldn’t stay again. One of the older female employees at this Lexington Motel 6 location refused to stop harassing us, during our 5-day stay. We had to switch to a completely different hotel location, to stop the harassment. Georgetown Motel 6, was fantastic.

ROACHES — The rooms looked nice and the cashier was friendly but as soon as we got in our room we spotted a couple roaches crawling on the wall. We walked back out and demanded a refund and went across the street to the Hilton it was much nicer.

Most of time…places look at you funny, or even tell you that you’re not allowed to work on your vehicle at a hotel. One of the hotel employees/managers came over and looked at my better half, as she was working underneath her car. Instead of being like a lot of other hotels, he came back with some old rags for us to use to clean up, when she was finished. And for that, I’d give them 5 STARS for the rest of the year. I’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to everyone. The updates are nice. And it’s always pretty quiet. Customer service is excellent too!

All of the staff were very courteous and accommodating. Room service was always timely and thorough. I stayed for over three weeks, and was always pleased by how tranquil the area was. The nearby stream and adjacent creek are relaxing and quite clean.

The bed is comfortable. Room is clean. Location is excellent. No microwave or fridge though. Non carpet flooring makes it clean and better compares to some other motels.
