There are pictures of what this place is supposed to look like. The room we had neither looked anyway near what the picture looked like nor smelled right. The whole building is having water issues and the office smells like cat urine. The room smelled mold and water damage. We stayed one night because it was too late to find another, but I wouldn’t recommend this whole to a dead dog. There was also no air conditioning. I give this place a rating of lower than one!

The employee are always treating you like you are a bother to them the ac in more then one room was out and was like 90 degrees in the rooms. The showers are so small you can’t turn around or even make sure the bottom of your body is clean After I left this review the “owner” commented saying they would like the chance to fix it. HOW!?!? You going to send me back some or all of the money I spent? Or EVEN offer any thing? Or just say you are going to fix it … I would love for you to return the money I spent on the room that would fix it

AC was not working. A guy was sleeping on the floor in my hallway.it is not a motel it is a housing for homeless, a dog was barking nonstop. The front desk staff and manager were very rude. I never had such a bad experience in a place. I left 15 minutes after check-in, this was horrible. Please don't risk your safety and choose a better place. They don't care. Attaching few people smoking with the dog.

Absolutely horrible, No Air conditioning, room was hotter than outside and was so humid water kept condensing on everything. Had to leave the window open to dry it out and cool it off a bit but it didn't help much. Couldn't hardly sleep, but too tired from traveling to find another place. Room was full of bugs, and was absolutely filthy. Stay far away!

I stayed here for about 3 weeks. The staff for the most part were nice. I did get a couple snags (problems). I was paying week to week while I was working and looking for an apartment on the side. And I worked from 9-5 thing is I had to ride the bus to and from work so I was leaving at 5am getting home about 7 or 8. The days I had to go pay for the next week were normally work days and they didn't allow me to pay ahead of time. So the staff got mad when I would get there after work (after their 11am "check out" time) (also another note I work for great wolf lodge cleaning rooms so I know what it's like to work for a hotel I have been since I was 16) so I would get in to pay and they would tell me not to do it again even though I had told them the week before that I'm working and paying ahead would be helpful they just wouldn't let me. Besides that and a couple problematic neighbors. (One would play music outside his room ad loud as he could get it.) (And another couple were having very loud love making). Besides that the rooms were clean from what I could tell and most mornings if I was in my room they would ask if I needed new towels or sheets. I never took them up on the offers but I'm glad I was asked.

Air conditioning was not working. Was the same temperature inside as the temp outside, even with the fan on high and temp on the coolest setting. No safety lock, it was missing. Front desk clerk was rude. I normally don’t write reviews or complain, but this was horrible. I’ve stayed in sketchy places but I couldn’t stay overnight here. I had my son, 18 months, with me and he was over heating in our room.

Horrible. Saw a lot of people with long firearms. Looks like they’ve had trouble before because there’s a bunch of police patrols looking around the area. Rooms are dirty and for some reason there’s a LOT of bleach on the water, you can feel your skin get soapy when you get in the shower due to the bleach. I’m pretty sure there’s not supposed to be that much bleach in regular tap water. A/C doesn’t work on any of the rooms and the only nice staff was the housekeeping lady, all the other people treat you like they hate you for being there.

During my transition from Texas to Kansas City I decided to go a more inexpensive route rather than an expensive hotel where I'm only staying enough time to lay my head. My mistake when I did not realize I would be able to check in early when I made these reservations in the beginning. Wasn't a hassle just had nowhere else to go with that point and had all intentions of being able to lay my head down after having a hot shower. Not a big deal being that the policy is the policy. I waited for 3 hours to be able to check in and the room was clean. There were several burn holes on the comforter and as a consumer it was kind of a weary feeling being that you always have to document things nowadays and this digital age to make sure you have proof. I did not have any problems whatsoever explaining that to management I was not responsible for that comforters damages. My only issue was that it wasn't a comforter on there or duvet that wouldn't put the next individual in possible charges being put on their room having somebody else's previous burn marks on there and just aesthetically would be better with something new for individuals renting the room. With that being said, there were a good amount of people at this motel. It was not loud fairly clean outside in the parking lot and around the office. This is a good location if you are simply needing to lay your head down and be up the next morning fairly quiet and with thorough room cleaning service. UPDATE 5/1/2024 I have chosen to stay at this location because of the good management compared to four other motels locally in Kansas City that have been completely disastersous. From this time on until my house is ready. I will be staying at this location because of the good service and the close proximity to work. Thank you all for making my choice easy. Thank you
